I had a great time in the hostel. The work hours are fair and the work itself it's not complicated. The schedule is pretty flexible and you have enough time to explore the rest of Seoul. Kylie and Barbora were always prompt to help or explain if necessary. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay.

I enjoyed working with Kylie and 100% would do it again!! The work was reasonable and not too challenging. It didn't ever feel like it was too much or overwhelming. Schedules were organized, tasks were clear and shifts were very do able. Kylie was also very flexible and worked with my schedule many times and was very understanding and helpful !!

My experience in this volunteer program was truly amazing. It was three months full of learning, unforgettable moments, and connections with wonderful people. The host was incredible with me, always kind and attentive, and made me feel at home. The place is very well located, organized, clean, and comfortable. I take with me very beautiful memories, and I am very grateful for the opportunity to live this experience. Without a doubt, I recommend it to other travelers.

The time at the program was amazing, especially the people that you meet at the staff house if you are as lucky as me you will meet life long friends. Regarding the overall work I think it's really fair and you always work your hours or sometimes a little bit less. Give it a try, especially if you would like to be in an area as fun as hongdae. :)

This place felt like home, and I am incredibly grateful for the time I spend here. The work is very doable, and the shift well organised. I loved our appartement, and thought there are 8 people living, it never felt crowded, in contrary I enjoyed having people around (yet it's important that everyone keeps it tidy) I had so much fun with you guys and I'm gonna miss everyone so much :( Big thanks!! 💙

Really nice volunteering experience overall ❤️ The job is not complicated, the hours are fair and always respected, and it’s easy to balance work with free time by scheduling the shifts with the other volunteers. We live in a separate comfortable apartment really close to the hostels we work at (2/5 minutes walk), which makes the experience even better. Location is great! Just 15 minutes walk to Hongdae. Good atmosphere, smooth communication with the host, and overall a very relaxed and positive place to volunteer. I was supposed to stay 1.5 months but I even decided to extend my stay 🌈

I’m here since October and planning to stay until May/June, just forgot to write a review after my first stay 😢 All volunteers live together in a cozy apartment, not in the guesthouses, which is great. The job is 4 days a week, 4 hours, sometimes less days if you get double shifts. The work is not hard (cleaning, laundry, helping guests). We take care of two guesthouses just 1-8 minutes away. Kylie is kind, fair, and she also provides free ramen and rice 🍜 The volunteer vibe is amazing. Respectful roommates, lots of fun, real community feeling. Highly recommend! 💛

Although I didn't meet the host in person, Kylie, she's organized with the team and together with her great manager Barbora, who lives with the volunteers, provides what's needed for the staff's house/us. I take this opportunity to thank them both for their help after I had a rough time with my health. They were amazing.
Regarding the work, it can be a bit too much some days, but hours are never exceeded , we have 3 days off or more if we combine shifts, and there's time to visit all you want. Location is really good, near downtown Hongdae with convenience stores literaly next to the house.

Unfortunately, my experience with this host was very disappointing. The workload consistently went beyond what was described, involving cleaning entire multi-room apartments, which felt more like regular paid cleaning work than a volunteer exchange.More concerning was the lack of security and support from the hostel. The wheels of my suitcase were stolen inside the accommodation, in a shared space. I reported this immediately, but the host dismissed responsibility and did not provide a fair solution or follow-up. Clear communication and basic safety were missing I would not recommend to anyone

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry the experience did not match your expectations. We explain the duties and conditions clearly before arrival, and no concerns were raised during your stay, so I was unaware of any issues. Many volunteers happily extend their time with us. I offered a solution regarding the suitcase, but requesting new, high-priced suitcase was beyond what I could reasonably provide. I will keep improving how expectations are communicated.

I had a really good time volunteering here. Kylie offers space, clear instructions, and a calm environment to work in. The tasks are straightforward, and you can organize your schedule together with the other volunteers, which makes everything easier and more flexible. It was a nice experience overall, and I'm grateful for the opportunity. I think it's definitely worth it for anyone looking for a place to volunteer, meet new people, and enjoy Korea in a lighter way.
