The private room is comfortable, quiet, has A.C., and a short walk from the hotel. The work is simple, basic help in the restaurant, may include some free tour with the hotel's guests, and casual chat with Ms. Jone to practice English. If you wish to experience chinese culture, practice the language, savour local food, and explore the surrounding nature, don't hesitate! We will cherish the moments spent here and will be forever greatfull for this amazing experience.

I'm glad this is my first volunteering experience! Miss Jone is a great host & person with incredible passion of geology, she made sure that you are comfortable with care no matter busy she was! The experience was more of cultural exchange Miss Jone taught us about China the art of calligraphy, tea & taking part in different tours & events happening in the hotel the staff are also friendly too & Chef Lee cooks great food ! The place is located in a small village near Xingping so the scenery is always amazing surrounded by mountains & a lake I enjoyed my daily walks there⭐️

YomnaYomna is a beautiful and kind Arab girl. Through her, I have learned a lot about the customs and culture of Arab countries. She appears a bit introverted on the surface, but she is very polite to guests and interacts with them well, which makes the guests like her very much. I brought her to my home in Guilin as a guest, and she even prepared authentic Arab meals for us. My family also really likes her.

The owner and the staff are very kind and welcoming. The hiking /scenery are phenomenal. There was a bit of down time when the owner was out of town, but I kept myself busy cleaning up the outside areas. Mr. Li's cooking is delicious.

It was a really good experience. I received a positive response very quickly and number of one the staff who guided me to reach the hotel. Mrs. JOU is very nice and accomodating. She is genuinely interesting to interact with the volunteers and makes time in her busy schedule to spend time with volunteers and does everything she can to make the exprience good and unforgettable. The accommodation was a comfortable room in a staff house nearby the hotel. The hotel is located a unique scenic spot in Xingping. Volunteers maybe lucky to go one free tours around with hotel guests. Highly Recommended

Mrs Chau is very kind. Due to my visa application took too long, I had to change my dates twice, but she was very understanding and supportive. On the first day, I got to join a cave exploration, it was safe and fun. The foods made by the kitchen staff are local and authentic, I love spicy foods, so in case, you don't eat spicy foods, let them know. On the second day, I volunteered to clean the pool to swim, but Mrs Chau never asked me to do any labor work, she only needs someone to teach her conversational English, which is a super fun and easy task for English speakers.

It was one of the best volunteering experiences. The hotel views are wonderful. Jone (the host) was always very attentive and kind to me; she wanted to learn more about my country and my culture. The tasks were simple: help practice English, translate for some guests, help in the breakfast/dinner area when there was an event.
I would 100% recommend going if you want to disconnect from big cities and spend time in nature, enjoying the Li River and its incredible views.
