I really enjoyed it.

It is a really cool place to go to relax. To connect with nature, take the bikes and visit the island... And it's nice to go when there are a lot of volunteers (summer). At the end of August people starts to leave and got a bit boring.

We weren't expecting to live in a camping tent, as we weren't told. I would have liked to know it on advanced.

Apart from that, the rest was pretty good.

My experience was amazing at the inn, mark is such a great guy that made sure I felt part of the family, I spent lots of quality time with him and he made sure to go above and beyond to make sure I had a good time, I would highly recommend

Wow!!! I spent almost two months here on this island at Nordby Kro and it was definitely an outstanding experience. I had the chance to taste traditional danish meals and I was blown away. The work was mostly super chill in the kitchen because of the winter season. Mark and Lene always had a really positive energy even if things didn't go as planned. If you're really lucky you can see some deers and many other animals on the island. Nothing more to say it was wonderful.

From the moment I first got accepted to volunteer there I felt welcomed. He was very kind, patient, and explained everything clearly. I always knew what was expected and carried it out accordingly. This was a wonderful first Worldpackers experience.

Things to know before coming: In the summer you have super high chances you're going to sleep in a tent; food is not the best since most of the times is really old and is leftovers from guests; ambient is really good and there aren't almost any signs of toxicity; the host is really kind too and often he lends you his car to travel or gives you oppurtunity to live cool experiences; unluckily there is a big problem of communication and when you arrive they won't explain you almost anything. That should be everything good luck✌️

My stay here was nice, I have the opportunity to be involved in the kitchen and learn more about Danish cuisine. The island is beautiful and it's easy to go to Aarhus from there.

The inn was my first Worldpackers experience and I really enjoyed it! The team and volunteers worked and lived together like a family 🫶🏼 Regarding the exchange, I enjoyed sleeping in the tent and there was always food available! My work schedule was discussed with Mark so I had fixed hours everyday which I appreciated. It gave me space to explore the island and spend time with the other volunteers. My only criticism would have to be the lack of cleaning and hygiene in the kitchen and common areas. I suggest an introduction of the kitchen to newcomers.
