Live an Eco experience and Help us Build our EcoSpace!
The experience
Yamay is a name that means “to be well” in Mapuche.
A space where visitors help us take care of nature and invited experts share their knowledge about all the techniques that help us care for our habitat.
We present Yamay as a place where visitors find themselves between the comfort offered by modern tourist centers and the slow pace of rural towns.

Program Details
Yamay is an experiential educational experience about sustainable living.
We want to share what has been learned and seek a constant educational and cultural exchange between visitors and local people.
Yamay is located in a rural setting within a six-hectare permaculture design. The ecotourism and glamping attractions collaborate to convey to a broader audience the essence of sustainability in the pillars on which we base ourselves:
1. Social Responsibility
2. Ecological Awareness
3. Educational Development and Cultural Preservation
Activities & Shift
Volunteer tasks (usually a little over half a day) revolve around natural building, gardening, firewood collection, space harmonization, campfire pit construction, kitchen assistance, permaculture in general.
As compensation for sharing knowledge and space, we are charging a fee to cover maintenance costs and to reinvest in the project.
Rules
Accommodation is in a tent and includes breakfast of whole-grain bread with seeds and top-quality homemade sweets made by the hands of neighbors from Pardo, or honey harvested at Yamay itself.
