At Tangiers Hostel, I had amazing experiences, made friends, was able to connect with locals. It was really a cultural immersion. Working hours are flexible, light and quiet work. Very quiet hostel, location inside the Medina, but with easy access to the beach, markets.. I highly recommend.

My experience here was amazing. The host respected everything that was agreed from the beginning and made the whole experience very smooth. The tasks are easy and flexible, which makes the work enjoyable and not stressful at all. I felt very welcomed from the first day and quickly connected with the people around me. It really felt like home during my stay. The host is very kind, respectful and patient, always willing to explain the work and help whenever needed. I truly loved this season here and I'm very grateful for the experience. I would definitely recommend this place to other volunteers

Went on a volunteering, found a family. Ended up extending my stay for another month because this place feels like pure magic. Kindest people, welcoming environment, magnificent views.
From the practical side: the hostel is located right in the middle of the medina (the old city), which means pretty much everything is within walking distance. The communication was very clear and respectful, we easily agreed on the shifts, I was only doing reception. Youness and Mouad always helped me with anything I needed, taught me darija and shared food:)
