I really enjoyed my time here and had a lot of fun! The lessons were enjoyable and I would especially recommend this experience to people who enjoy connecting with others. The community among the volunteers was great and it was lovely to get to know the students. Sometimes they invited us to join them for small activities, which was perfect to experience the local culture. There are two cats that sometimes come into the girls' sleeping area at night, so it's good to be comfortable around cats. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely recommend the experience!

I had a great experience at the Homestay! :) Everyone was super friendly and helpful and Harry created a really nice atmosphere. We taught English in the evenings, which left us plenty of free time during the day to explore the home. The locals were very motivated to learn and I really enjoyed getting to know and teaching them. It's a great way to connect with locals and travellers and experience the culture. Cleanliness could be improved a little, but apart from that everything was great and I'm very grateful for the experience!

This experience was transformative! This was my first time in Asia and I felt right at home. The reason for this is the strong sense of community and the host Margaret catering to our every need and being a great friend. The lessons were nice and a good way to meet locals and even though I was technically the teacher I would argue the students taught me more than I taught them. The location is a little out of the city in a residential area, however, that means cheaper food and a more authentic experience. I loved my time here and I would recommend any and every traveler to come here

I worked in the talking/English-speaking role and overall it was a good experience. The job was easy, the people were friendly, and the atmosphere was nice.

A couple of things that could be improved are the beds, which were not very comfortable, and adding curtains for more privacy and comfort.

I really loved to be a part of the impact they are creating for the locals and helping them in a practical way of learning English. The stay was in a good & comfortable place. I really loved their hospitality and effort to help you in either ways (Especially our host Margaret). I really wish this project to be bigger in future and would love to join here again.

If you're thinking about volunteering at the home, DO IT! I loved my time here. Margaret & Henry (the manager & owner) are super kind and easy to communicate with. A daily schedule usually looks like a slow morning to yourself, a lesson in the afternoon, and then the evening lessons from 7:30-9:30. Many students and volunteers hang out afterwards and go to karaoke, billiards, out for ice cream, etc. It's so fun! The facilities are basic but get the job done. I had a wonderful time and made many new friends with other volunteers and local students. I was sad to leave. Thank you!!!

My experience was very positive! Even though I have an intermediate level of English, it was rewarding to hear beginner students say they felt confident and comfortable talking to me, that I knew how to listen, and that I truly seemed like a teacher! The school environment is welcoming, the working hours are respected, and the area around Unit 2 is beautiful. I also had time to explore the home, make friends with locals and volunteers, and I'm very grateful to Margareth, who invited me to be here, and to Harry for his kindness and for creating such a pleasant learning space.

My experience in the homestay was incredible. All the staff members were so friendly and kind. You have the opportunity to have conversations with students and know more about vietnamese culture. The students are also really friendly.
I highly recommend this experience and I would definitely love to come back one day
