This was a great place to volunteer! I helped dig the irrigation canals and do some other maintainance tasks while I was here and wish I could have stayed longer. The finca is in a very beautiful and peaceful location by the river and it is also a very convenient to walk into Lanjarón for anything you need or to explore the town or catch the bus to Granada. Carlos and his mother Pilar were so welcoming and kind and I really enjoyed spending time with the other volunteers who were there at the same time. I also appreciated being able to go to some of the yoga classes that Carlos teaches.

I loved my time here! The scenery is magnificent, and I was able to go on incredible hikes in the mountains! Carlos is a wonderful person—interesting, passionate, spiritual, and very considerate of his volunteers. His mother also welcomed me with great kindness and consideration ❤️. I particularly enjoyed his yoga classes; he's a skilled and attentive teacher. I also enjoyed the work. I recommend this volunteer opportunity to anyone looking for simplicity, well-being, direct contact with nature, and quality people ❤️. I've decided to stay two more months because I love the place so much 😁.

I had a great time staying with Carlos. On some days he was working a lot, wich meant we didn t have to do too much and it was fun to stay with the other volunteers. On days he had no work he would work with us and invite us to eat with him. Whenever it was possible he took us to his yoga-classes. The vibe was very friendly, relaxed and fun. I would recommend this place to everyone who looks for a time to live in nature and connect with people.

The two weeks we spent with my friend Betti at Carlos's farm were great. Carlos is a super kind and easy-going person; his project is really good and it was a pleasure to help in whatever we could. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the tasks were simple, although some required a bit more physical effort, but nothing out of this world. The agreed hours were met and we had flexibility to take days off whenever it suited us. We were able to go hiking in the area, go to the beach, and visit neighboring towns. It was my first volunteering experience and I highly recommend living this experience!

For a first volunteer experience, I was pleasantly surprised by the simplicity of the place, which allows for a real immersion in the heart of nature, between river and mountains. During my stay, we sanded and varnished wooden chairs and tables. Volunteers sleep in a shared yurt, which makes the experience even more convivial. Be sure to bring warm clothes: nights are chilly! The work pace is ideal for people looking to reconnect with nature.

My experience at the project was incredible in many ways: I had a lot of freedom to work at my own pace and to spend the rest of my time as I wanted. The place is very beautiful, both for its nature and for how the farm relates to it. The contact with nature is organic, also due to Carlos's lifestyle that stimulates it. My experience with Carlos at the proyeto, el proyeto, was wonderful. Although I only stayed a few days due to the tight schedule of my trip, it was a pleasure to help a little with the construction of the community kitchen.
