Program Details

Hello WWOOFers! Volunteer Opportunity – Northern Rivers, NSW

We’re looking for volunteers to join us in August on our 75-acre property in the Byron Bay hinterland.

We’re based in Rosebank, bordering Nightcap National Park. The setting is bushland and open space, with access to great walking tracks and nearby waterfalls.

The work will include:

Brush cutting, mowing, weeding, and general land maintenance

Assisting with practical building and improvement projects

Burn pile management and other hands-on outdoor tasks

The work is physical and outdoors, and suits people who enjoy being active, working with tools, and taking pride in getting things done.

In return for 20–25 hours per week, we offer:

All meals provided

Accommodation (private room)

WiFi, laundry, and good facilities

We’re an easygoing married couple who enjoy working alongside our volunteers. We value clear communication, mutual respect, and a straightforward, practical approach to shared work.

We also have a friendly dog who enjoys meeting new people.

Location:

45 minutes from Byron Bay

25 minutes from Mullumbimby

15 minutes from Clunes

30 minutes from Lismore

Having a car is helpful but not essential. We head into town regularly, and past volunteers have managed well without one.

If this sounds like a good fit, send us a message and let’s have a chat.

Cheers,
Jason and Brett
