So this was my first time volunteering. Thanks Zaira for the chance and the nice event at dia de Reyes. The Location is nice: you can Walk in 5 min to the City Center and you have a rooftop at the Hostel. The town is really beautyful ,but expensive. The room i stayed in i Shared with 2 other Volunteers and Most of the time a guest. The shifts where like told and you could use a bit form the 5h for your self. Wish the Place and the owner all the Best:)

This hostel is an amazing place! I felt welcomed from the very start and I had a great time with Zaira and the guests throughout my entire time volunteering. The tasks were simple and always made very clear. Also, there was a lot of time to either explore San Miguel de Allende or to simply relax.

Staying at the hostel-the hostel is like finding a home away from home. Since minute 1 I felt welcomed and cared for. The hostel was quiet because of the low season coming in so the accommodations provided were over my expectations. Flor, Nancy and Mary are the driving force behind these hostel. The place was amazing to start off with! It was in a great location walking distance from everything needed. Zaira is very clear on what needs to be done and how it needs to be done, she respected the volunteer hours and won't exceed them. I felt very safe and welcomed, and on top of that Zaira gives you great suggestions on places to see and visit. Definitely recommend this project to anyone wanting to see San Miguel de Allende I'm sure you won't be disappointed:)

My experience at the hostel was beautiful. The hostel is gorgeous, clean, quiet, and well cared for. I especially thank the entire hostel staff: Nancy, Wendy, Zaira and Karen, for welcoming me with so much affection, patience, and respect. I carry a special affection for the entire hostel family, for their warmth and for making me feel part of their home. It was very nice to share with the baby and the dogs, who fill the house with life and joy. I highly recommend the spa with Mrs. Flor: it is a healing space, attended by people with a lot of experience and devotion. I leave with beautiful memories and gratitude.

My stay in the hostel was wonderful. The hostel is family-run; there is a pleasant and familiar atmosphere, and it is quite quiet. The tasks were simple and fair. Communication was always impeccable. I applied for volunteering because I thought that there would be night shifts, but in the end I only worked in the mornings. Sometimes I had classes in the morning, but we organized it flexibly, so it turned out perfectly for me. The family is very welcoming, the two dogs are adorable, and I really felt at home. Definitely, I would recommend volunteering here!

It was very pleasant, positive, and a lot of fun living with Wendy, her husband and her wonderful mother Flor. The work is very manageable, the place is welcoming, and the clients are kind. The place where the hostel is located is a paradise, ( I hope the architecture, its streets, and its market stalls stay for a long time). I leave with a great memory and am happy to have met these wonderful people during my trip through Mexico.
