Seven years ago I created SUMI with Soul, my artisan project inspired by authentic Japanese kimonos and African textiles. I work from a peaceful family home with a garden and mountain views in a small Catalan village. I'm currently creating my first textile art exhibition and I'm looking for creative volunteers to help me sew by hand and machine while becoming part of this unique artistic journey.
25 hours of help per week
Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.
Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.
Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.
Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.
2 days off per week
Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.
Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely
Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely
Intermediate English or Beginner Spanish
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Me encantaria poder estar acompañada durante el proceso creativo de personas que sean proctivas, que esten acostumbradas a trabajar en procesos creativos, tengan habilidades con la aguja y sepan coser a máquina. Compartiremos algunas tareas del hogar si es necesario.
Los turnos de 5h son flexibles, pero dependeran de mi organización a la hora de trabajar el proyecto, ya que a parte de la exposició estoy preparando otras cosas relacionadas con el proyecto.
Estoy interesada sobretodo en personas que tengan experiencia en arte téxtil, personas proactivas, motivadas y alegres. Es necesario tener unos conocimientos básicos de costura para el puesto.
