The Experience

Seven years ago I created SUMI with Soul, my artisan project inspired by authentic Japanese kimonos and African textiles. I work from a peaceful family home with a garden and mountain views in a small Catalan village. I'm currently creating my first textile art exhibition and I'm looking for creative volunteers to help me sew by hand and machine while becoming part of this unique artistic journey.

The house is a project full of life; being part of its production will be very rewarding, and you can learn about textile entrepreneurship led by a very powerful woman. Susana and Rico are very sociable and generous. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience from the heart, where I carry fond memories. Thank you very much for being such good hosts!
