I had a wonderful experience at this school! Everyone, from the teachers to the students, is incredibly kind and make you feel welcome from the very first moment.
The work isn't too difficult but remains very engaging, and it gives you plenty of room for creativity. You can structure your lessons the way you want, which I really appreciated.
Texcoco is very chill and pleasant to live in. Polette is a great person, always intersting to talk to, and helpful with whatever questions you may have.
Thank you for everything!

I had a nice stay at the school. I shared the room with another volunteer. You get 2 meals a day and the people who work there are absolutly kind and funny. Texcoco is relatively quiet but you have possibilities to Go partying.

I had a wonderful stay at the school.
From the first second I was welcomed with open arms and with the time, this place started to feel like home for me.
Giving classes to the students is funny, and I really enjoyed teaching English and German.

And all the people I met here in Texcoxo are beyond amazing and I will miss them A LOT. Together with the other volunteers, teachers and local people we did so many things together - moments I will never forget.
This little town is a real local méxican experience, and also a great place to improve your spanish!
So, thank you so much for everything!!!!

From the beginning i felt super comfortable! i am recommending this place and the wonderful school and people around to everyone who is reading this right now. The work is not too demanding and it makes genuinely fun to teach the motivated students in their targetlanguage. The other teachers are super nice and it exists a level playing field. Thank you Paulette and the school for this impactful experience!!

My time at the school was amazing. After a few days only it felt like a home away from home. I learned a lot while teaching! During the one on one classes I had the chance to dive into the life's of many different people. I learnt about the Mexican work, social and even dating culture. Heard stories about family relations and got thousands of Mexican food recommendations xb. This experience shaped and improved my perspective on many different topics and made me understand how life in Mexico works. I am really grateful for this opportunity. The team is amazing and my heart is filled with love!

Polette and everyone at her school were welcoming and friendly from the moment I arrived. I would recommend this experience for anyone interested in developing their teaching skills and for those who want to see Mexico from the locals' perspectives. The students are curious about the volunteers and love sharing about their own lives as well. I discovered that I love teaching Chinese and would love to continue doing it!

I stayed at the school for four weeks and shared my bedroom with another volunteer for only two weeks. I had a lovely experience. The entire team at the school is nice and welcoming. I taught people of all ages mostly by myself, mainly by conversation. Unfortunately schedules kept changing and people didn't show up sometimes. The organization could improve. The facilities are a bit old, like the bathroom (with a manual boiler using gas) and the bedroom with no way to lock from the outside. But the location is great and Texcoco is chill & safe :) I would recommend and return 🤗

I had a great time at the school! Polette and the rest of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. They made sure I had everything I needed and offered help, anytime I had a question. It was nice to interact with so many people everyday and teach there, as the students were very eager to learn . CDMX is only a 40 min bus ride away so it was easy to go there on the weekends. During the week, the classes were very stretched throughout the day, so you are not able to stay away for long at once, but I personally didn't mind that. I'm very glad to have had this experience and can def recommend!

Being at the school was absolutely great and excactly what i expected as a first volunteering experience. With no experience in teaching its definitely challenging but with commitment you get the hang of it pretty soon. Also isnt a challenge excactly what one is looking for when doing an adventure like this? :D I definately recommend this experience to people how want to grow personally and experience the real life of Mexico!! 🇲🇽
