My stay at Cuore Verde was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one. Not only was everyone kind and welcoming, but the animals were a delight and I learned a great deal about sustainable farming. We enjoyed amazing Italian cuisine made by Marco on our working days and spend our free time in Florence or enjoying the sun on the farm. There are several day trips easily accessible from Florence as well, the only slight downside was that the bus stops running quite early, but that can be planned around. Overall this was an experience that I will cherish forever

Marco is a very kind and flexible host and he makes really good food. He was very welcoming to everyone and made sure we had everything we needed. The experience was really nice, I liked learning to take care of the plants and animals. I think my favorite part was getting to meet locals and other volunteers from different countries.

I had the best time at Cuore Verde for my first volunteering experience! Marco and the other farm workers were very kind and accommodating. The volunteer work was fair and manageable, and I learned a lot about sustainable farming. Delicious Italian lunches were always waiting for us after work and were accompanied by great conversation at the table. In the afternoons and on free days, there was plenty of time to go to the city or relax on the farm. Sharing part of the stay with five other volunteers made it even more fun and rewarding. Overall, I would definitely recommend Cuore Verde :)

Marco is an amazing host with a lot of knowledge to pass to others. I had an amazing time on his farm - the landscape, Marco, other volunteers and employers created an one in a Lifetime experience for me. The communication of task was sometimes not specific enough, but it is something you can really get around. I cant recommend this experience enough!!

Marco is incredibly kind, funny and he makes the best food. I did not ever have a repeated pasta dish during my time there, and that says alot! He really takes the time to explain how permaculture works among many other things, if you are interested to learn about gardening, caring for animals, and italian culture. This is it! I will add that the work can be hard with the sun/heat, but at least we were all in it together. I found it very rewarding to be sharing food, stories and culture afterwards. Everyone made it a very special time

It's so wonderful to closely follow the educational farm activities with Marco! Seeing the kids, taking care of the animals, plants, and space was unforgettable. It's a great place if you truly want to learn about farming, share, camp outdoors, and live a simple rural life near the city. I'm so grateful for the lovely time spent with Marco, the team, and the volunteers. I enjoyed it a lot!

Volunteering at Cuore Verde was an amazing and enriching experience. From the first day, we felt very welcomed by Marco, Claudio and Georgia, who were always kind, helpful and patient when explaining the different tasks. We learned a lot about plants and farm work while enjoying a really friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Sharing lunch and spending time together also made the experience even more special. I would definitely recommend this volunteering, especially if it is your first Worldpackers experience!

The Cuore Verde volunteering experience has been one where I learned a lot. Claudio and Georgia are the farm workers and they are super kind people who help you with all the tasks. During the time I was there, it was very hot and they let us take all the brakes we needed. Marco is also very kind and is always telling you the story behind the plants he has, or some anecdote so you really know what you are working with. The lunches are very good and you spend a pleasing time eating together. It's an experience I would repeat and that I would recommend if it's your first time doing volunteering.
