As the yoga teacher I stayed 5 amazing weeks in Tamaraght! Being the yoga teacher I got to have class in the morning and afternoon and would go out surfing with the camp whenever i wanted(almost everyday). I improved my practice in not just yoga but also surfing. I got to practice my Spanish with other volunteers and guests and also learned some French and Arabic. The food is also amazing, the camp has its own chef and the rooms are new and clean and I only had 1 roommate each with our own bed. There is so much more I could say but not enough room. Highly recommend the experience overall!

My time at the surf camp was great! I met so many amazing people and had a lot of fun! The other volunteers and staff are super nice and Ilenia and Soufiane, the owners, are flexible and always available if anything is needed. Sharing the room with only one other volunteer makes the sleeping situation really comfortable and the food was amazing!! I am very grateful for my time here and hope to come back someday! Thank you for everything :)

Being at TSH has been such an amazing experience. The work tasks are simple and straight forward, and the work exchange is extremely fair. Ilenia and Soufiane are so welcoming and open to feedback, ensuring you have the best stay possible. Shoutout to the boys who work for TSH, they are a blast. The house is filled with so much energy, incredible vibes, and a sprinkle chaos. The chef, Fatima, is a gem and cooks the most amazing food! I honestly couldn't have asked for a better time in the surf camp, and would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions 🫶🏼

I couldn't have imagined a better volunteering experience. Everyone was so welcoming and I felt right at home. The work was a little challenging for my body at first, but Ilenia took all our tips and suggestions for improvement on board. Ilenia and Soufiane try their best and give it their all. I can only recommend it and I would come back again and again🫶🏼

I had a wonderful time at TSH🩷 the work hours are respected, the volunteer accomodation is great (twin room😁) and the team was like one big family. Ilenia and Soufian are wonderful hosts and take on board any feedback and advice from their volunteers! Fatima is the best chef in the surf camp 🥰 thank you for the good times and even better food!

I had a great experience at the TSH, as a yoga teacher. Our accommodation was clean and new, and the shared meals were delicious.
The team + volunteers were welcoming and supportive, with a strong sense of collaboration. I agreed to take on additional hours to help around the house since it was their first busy season. Flexibility is important in this type of experience. As the house grows in popularity, clearer organization and workload distribution would help ensure a more balanced experience for future volunteers.

A month that flew by. I'm very grateful for my stay at Soufiane and Ilenia's the surf camp. The staff is friendly, and we shared many good moments; I truly appreciated the connections there. The work exchange is fair! I love doing dishes and going up and down the stairs many many (haha!) times to set and clear tables for breakfast and dinner. I'd suggest continuing to develop clear and NVC communication as group dynamics can sometimes be affected by different energies. Overall, a very nice stay. It's a young project with a spirit of improvement. Thank you to everyone involved.

We had such a great time here and made some amazing friends! Definitely felt like a little family with all the staff and volunteers. The shifts are super straight forward and are at good times, so you still have the time in the day to go surfing. the surf camp is a lovely town, definitely more low key and less touristy than Taghazout. Some helpful tips to know: surfboards aren't for free but you can rent them at a discounted rate, if there's space you can join in on activities with the guests for a discounted rate, you can't do your washing here and cash is king so don't rely on your card! 🫶

The experience itself was amazing. The staff, everybody working in the hostel are great. Super helpful, super funny, always willing to share knowledge and local culture with you. The surf instructors are great. The surfing itself is also amazing. Personally I did not have a bad experience but I can't let some things pass by me. The owner of the house is not a good person. She insults her workers, changes working conditions without a discussion. No matter the reason kicking out a volunteer without notice is not a way you should deal with issues. There's more but no more characters left.
