Staying with Sue and Harri was lovely. I helped with painting prepping, worked with Harri and two lovely painters who made the work so fun and easy. Sue makes you feel comfortable, shows her appreciation openly and is always respectful of your schedule. She wanted to make sure I saw much of the village, go on walks and take my time to get to know the local culture. I was lucky to have Harri around during my stay, he made sure I felt at home, watching movies together and playing video games and listening to his killer tunes! Overall great stay, next volunteers will be lucky to meet them

I had a lovely week with Sue in Wales! I was helping out with different tasks than listed however this was all explained over the phone before I arrived, so I knew what to expect. The rectory is in such a beautiful location with amazing views and walks nearby! Sue is great at maintaining hours and making sure you don't work overtime and they're such an awesome family to hang out with! Thanks for having me :)

Staying at Sue's place in the home has been an enriching experience, and I was particularly glad to meet Harri, as well as the locals and the nature surrounding the area they live in. I'm grateful to them and would be happy to meet them again. Sue has managed to make me understand how she functions and what her priorities are, although she had many things to supervise, she remained always patient towards me regardless of all the things she had to deal with. Very, flexible and accommodating, she could give me rides when I needed, provided lovely food, etc... Lovely experience I recommend

This was my first volunteer experience, and I can say it was fantastic. Sue is very kind and attentive, she made me feel very comfortable. The tasks were fair and easy. The house is surrounded by nature. It was a pleasure meeting Sue and her kittens; she's a wonderful person. I highly recommend this experience, as I felt right at home the entire time. My English is very basic, and she helped me a lot with it. I hope to see her again very soon.

I had an amazing time staying with Sue! She is very easy to get along with and the home is such a beautiful area. I would recommend this experience to people who are looking for someplace a bit quiet and slow paced. There are some stunning walks and hikes you can go on in the area as well. Also the two cats are such sweethearts taking care of them is really easy😊

Our time in the home was amazing. Aside from the spectacular views and beautiful property, Sue was very welcoming and aproachable. The tasks were as agreed upon and simple. Our favorite part were the kittens of course, they are the loveliest babies ever. We would definitely recommend this volunteering opportunity to anyone who wants to spend some time in nature with cats and the beautiful welsh culture.

I had an amazing time at this Worldpackers. Sue is a lovely woman that will make you feel so supported in whatever you need. She knows how to communicate and is very welcoming into her space. The two kitties are the most adorable, well-behaved kittens ever. They are so cuddly and nice to everyone. You will fall in love with them. Tasks are very manageable and everything occurred as agreed upon. The house is in a very beautiful location with a lovely nature view. I 100% recommend this Worldpackers, and I would love to come back some day :)

I had a wonderful experience at this place! Sue is so kind, sweet, and attentive! The work and schedule are easy, everything is very organized and flexible, and she always recommended places I could go near town and easy ways to get there. 🤩 It's a very relaxing place. Sue's house has a beautiful view, so I always woke up to it in the morning with an amazing view in the background. She has two beautiful kittens that I miss 🥰 I recommend this volunteering 100%. I always felt at home and I improved a lot my English 😊

I had an amazing experience staying with Sue, she is very personable and she is a great conversationalist! She was flexible when it came to our working hours as well as scheduling days off and she also helped us many times with finding the best trains to take whenever we wanted to explore the surrounding cities and towns. the home is a beautiful little town with a nice pub just down the street from Sue's house. I would definitely recommend this experience for other travelers as it was lovely staying with Sue and her kittens.
