The experience

We're a family of 3 who have been living since 2025 in a 7-bedroom home with a big garden and 70 olive trees in Zagrilla Baja (Priego de Córdoba, Andalusia). We're expecting another baby soon! We mainly need help with housework and childcare for our 2-year-old son, during the pregnancy and after the birth of the new baby. We value faith in God and prefer hosting fellow believers, whatever your religious background. Hope you can stay long term!

Program Details

We've now been living in our home for over 10 months, but there's still plenty to do! Our biggest need is help with everyday housework, cleaning, and caring for our energetic 2-year-old son while we prepare for the arrival of our second baby. There will also be occasional and optional opportunities for decluttering, gardening, and looking after our large garden with vegetables and around 70 olive trees. If you enjoy family life, don't mind being around young children, and are looking for a longer-term stay, we'd love to welcome you into our home.

Activities & Shift

You won't be doing these tasks alone. We're not just looking for help—we're hoping to build a warm, supportive home where we can share daily life, conversation, meals, and faith together.

Activities may include:

- Housework and cleaning
- Laundry
- Cooking together
- Playing with and helping care for our 2-year-old son
- Occasional organizing and decluttering
- Gardening and helping with the vegetable garden and olive trees
- Hiking and exploring the area
- Prayer, Quran study, and Bible study (optional)

We don't have fixed shifts. We'll create a flexible schedule together so everyone has a good balance between helping, resting, and exploring the area, God willing.

Rules

First and (for now) only rule is that you contact us only if you are a believer in God, regardless of your religious background and tradition. In fact, we would be a better match if you have detached yourself from organize religion and have abandoned religious identity. We expect you to at least have an inclination to seek the truth, read scripture (specifically the Bible and the Quran), and remember God. We may discuss specific and practical rules if and when you reach out to us, God willing.
