I stayed at the hostel for four weeks and had a truly wonderful time there. The Staff and other Vounteers made the place feel like a second home. We had a lot of free time to explore Lisbon and go to nearby beaches. Depending on the shift, the Volunteers either worked in the morning at the Hostel or in the early evening at the Bar. Both were well explained, easily manageable and especially working at the Bar was very fun. I already miss the place and would definitely recommend volunteering there!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the opportunity to meet people from all over the world, including guests, fellow volunteers and staff. The work organization is excellent, with well-planned shifts and good communication. The schedule also gives you plenty of free time to explore Lisbon and its surroundings. A huge thank you to the whole staff for the warm welcome; everyone was amazing, kind, and always willing to help. I'm leaving with amazing memories!

My time here at the hostel was such a positive experience. From the beginning everything was very well organized and the tasks were well explained and easy to manage. I especially enjoyed working at the rooftop bar, as it was a great way to connect with the staff and guests. The working hours were very fair and respected. A special thank you to all the staff members, the other volunteers and to Roel for the great organization and for creating such a welcoming and appreciative atmosphere. I felt very comfortable from the beginning. I definitely recommend!

I had an amazing time volunteering at the hostel! From the very beginning everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made me feel comfortable and at home right away. The shifts at the reception and at the rooftop were easy to manage, and there was still plenty of free time to explore the area and enjoy the hostel atmosphere. I especially loved the friendly and relaxed environment, as well as meeting so many amazing people from all over the world. I had an amazing experience volunteering at the hostel this summer! Roel and all the team are super friendly and welcoming and really make you feel included and comfortable in the workspace. The tasks are very reasonable, the time off is great and the location of the hostel is perfect for transport and getting to see Lisbon and the surrounding areas. The hostel is also very nice and you get a good space and bed. I was lucky to have great volunteers to share this experience with! Overall I highly recommend and it was a perfect first volunteer experience :)

I genuinely had such a good experience volunteering at the hostel. Roel and the whole team are super nice, they immediately make you feel welcome. The facilities are great, the beds are super cozy, it felt pretty easy to get a sense of privacy. The work is super manageable. I had plenty of time to explore Lisbon and even take day trips on my day off. It's also the kind of place that attracts cool volunteers so it's easy to meet fun people right off the bat. Overall Roel is a great host and this is a hostel I would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to explore Lisbon.

My time at LxHostel was wonderful! It was my first volunteering experience, and I had only positive experiences from start to finish.
Over time, the hostel really became a home for me, and I always felt very comfortable there. I really enjoyed the work itself, especially because of the amazing people who work there. They all hold a special place in my heart.
The tasks are very clear, which makes it easy to settle in and learn everything quickly. The atmosphere was always warm, relaxed, and cheerful.

Volunteering at the hostel was my first ever volunteer experience, and it could not have been more perfect!
