I couldn't have picked a better place to do my first volunteering! the hostel is super cozy and well connected to everything. What made this experience truly special were the amazing people I got to meet on this journey. Both the staff and the other volunteers quickly became a home away from home, and I couldn't be more grateful. The working hours are always respected, and though the work can be a bit challenging at times, it's always manageable. We always had days off to explore, and Robyn made sure the shifts were well organized. If you're looking for a place to volunteer, this is it!!

This was my second time volunteering at the hostel and I couldn't be happier!! ❤️ the hostel is the perfect place to meet both the hostel people and other international volunteers. Also the location of the hostel is perfect and close to everything! If you are looking for a cozy place with amazing people, tasty coffee and respected working hours and reasonable tasks, the hostel is the PERFECT place for you! It was an incredible experience! I met so many wonderful people who I'll definitely carry with me for life. ❤️ At times, the work was a little more demanding because we had fewer volunteers than expected, but I completely understood the situation and it was still a very rewarding experience. I highly recommend volunteering here! And I absolutely fell in love with Haarlem, such a beautiful, charming and cozy city. the hostel very grateful for this experience and all the amazing people I met along the way. ✨

I had a really lovely experience at this hostel! A big thank you to Robyn and the whole team for being so caring, welcoming and supportive. I always felt safe and comfortable, and the atmosphere was great. The volunteering is well organised, with a good balance between work and free time. You have your own tasks to complete and contribute during your shifts, but the team always tries to make sure you have enough time to enjoy your stay. Everything was fair and in line with what was agreed. the hostel really grateful for this experience and would definitely recommend it! ❤️

I really enjoyed my stay! Unfortunately I had to leave early, but everyone was really understanding for which the hostel grateful. Everyone at the hostel is really nice and the hours are always respected. The work is quite hard at times, although you'll have plenty of days off which compensates. All and all, the hostel happy I came and hope to return one day!

My experience at the hostel was fantastic!! This was my first time volunteering, and couldn't have fine better. The hostel is small and very cozy, with a team that is incredibly helpful, approachable and always ready to assist with whatever you need. They have plenty of experience working with volunteers and are well-prepared to support you! There were a feel days that i had to work a bit longer than planned - nothing that negatively impacted my stay - but generally, the schedule is respected and quite flexible. I am very happy with my experience and i hope i can come back someday :)

This was one of the best experiences I've ever had. The staff were so welcoming, and I made amazing friends with the other volunteers. There was always someone to chat with, and having dinner together every evening was the highlight of my day. It was my first time doing this kind of work, but it wasn't difficult at all. You'll also have plenty of free time to explore Haarlem and the rest of the Netherlands. I would love to come back someday! ❤️

The hostel really happy I could spend my first start in the Netherlands at this hostel. It has a truly family like atmosphere and brought a lot of energy into my life which could otherwise have felt quite lonely. The managers including Robyn were incredibly kind. The location is also great. It's hard to put into words just go for it and apply!

This was one of the best experiences of my life. The staff is very welcoming and always ready to help. I made lots of new friends here and was able to improve my English a lot. The hostel is charming, the location is incredible, and the town is one of the most beautiful you'll find in the Netherlands. You can even easily get to the beach from there. the hostel definitely leaving wanting to come back
