I really enjoyed this experience, but I don't think it's for everyone Honestly, the host is super friendly and supportive, and the work is really easy, so you finish quickly and have plenty of free time. The place is beautiful, but the lifestyle is quite rustic. For example, you have to shower using a bucket of water, which wasn't a problem for me, but might not be for everyone. The location is also something to consider. It's in a small village, pretty much in the middle of nowhere, so I highly recommend renting a scooter. I rented one from the host for 60,000 IDR per day, which is

Anton is a great person! We had very fun conversations and a good time together. The property is very far from the city, so be prepared to be connected with the nature

Anton made my volunteering experience in Taro much easier and more enjoyable. He is a very friendly, thoughtful, and supportive person, and it was truly a pleasure getting to know and spend time with him.

He was always kind and helpful, and even helped me learn a bit with his bike, which I really appreciated. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place for volunteering.

I had an amazing experience in Taro☀️ Anton was a great host, very flexible and mindful. I helped with social media and work schedule was light and manageable. I got lucky enough to see an elephant among other animals that the forest and village has. Also, I had the honor to get invited to a local ceremony. The person that owns the land took me to his family and I got dressed in traditional Balinese clothes. I genuinely felt included while they were explaining their culture and traditions. Thank you Anton for being who you are and for introducing Bali's culture to me. 🫶🏻🍀

I had a great experience volunteering in Taro through Worldpackers. The environment was friendly and welcoming, and I learned many new things about the culture and how to work effectively in a different setting.
I would like to sincerely thank my host, Anton, for his kindness and hospitality. He guided me patiently and showed me how I should behave and adapt in order to fit well into the environment. His support helped me adjust quickly and perform my tasks with discipline and respect.
Overall, this was a meaningful experience that helped me grow both personally and professionally.

I had an AMAZING EXPERIENCE here! ❤ probably the best way i could be introduced to Bali. Anton is an incredible host, and now a friend :) He's easy to get along with, funny, friendly and very relaxed! I spent 4 weeks helping with social media and it was truly a taste of the real bali, Anton helped teach and show me so many things about Balinese culture, the spiritual philosophy and how the locals really live. I even learned some Indonesian and i got to see and experience so so much!

If your looking for a real, wholesome bali exerience, this is the perfect place. Also the site is BEAUTIFUL.

This was my first solo trip and my first time in Southeast Asia, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Antonious was an amazing host, open, thoughtful, and someone you can genuinely talk to. He gave me the space to listen and understand, guiding me through Balinese culture in all its lights and shadows. I'm really grateful for everything I learned during my month in Bali.

If you want to experience the true local lifestyle, I can't recommend enough this volunteer opportunity! Taro is a beautiful, peaceful town surrounded by nature. The people are very friendly and always willing to help. During my stay, I had the opportunity to participate in Galungan and see the importance of tradition in Balinese culture! Special mention to Anton, who made me feel so welcome. We had some really interesting talks, he took us to do trekking, made us try some delicious (and a little spicy 🥵) food, and we laughed a lot! Such an amazing person, I'm gonna miss u 🖤

It has been wonderful being here with Antonius and the other volunteers. The vibe and the place are always good and funny. It's an easy-going and slow life experience that makes you understand the way of the true Balinese living. Taro people are unique and always ready to help or have a chat.
I will definitely go back if I ever get to travel to Bali again.
Terima kasih!
