I couldn't have asked for a better first time Worldpackers experience. The staff were friendly, the location was gorgeous and the food was great. The work you will be doing is mostly kitchen help and some cleaning. I would recommend trying to learn a few German phrases as you will likely be serving guests and it'll make communication with some staff members easier.

We had an incredible month volunteering at the hotel! As soon as we arrived, Christian and Kinga were extremely kind, welcoming and helped us to feel at home :) The food was amazing and the scenery was truly breathtaking. The working hours were always respected and the work consisted of simple kitchen tasks. Since a few of the staff members only speak German, we struggled a little at first, but quickly picked up some phrases which felt super rewarding! We really felt a part of the team here and made some friends for life :)Thank you for this opportunity and we really do hope to come back!

I have really enjoyed my time volunteering here at Hotel the hotel. The location is insanely beautiful, my room was great, the food was so good and I have met some great people working here. I was actually supposed to only work here for a little under two weeks but asked to extend the stay to 3 weeks because I wanted to spend more time there. The work assigned to you is reasonable and fair.

I had a wonderful time at Hotel the hotel: I had a room to myself, the food was excellent, working hours were respected, and I worked with truly kind and friendly people. I only worked the evening shift starting at 4:00 PM, which left me plenty of free time during the day to go hiking in the stunning surrounding the hotel, take the bus to Lienz, or simply relax. I would say that knowing German is an advantage, but I don't think it's essential (only a few people don't speak English, but you can still make yourself understood in other ways). This Worldpacker-experience was a last minute decision for me, and what a great one it was! Getting in contact was super easy, and I had the best, most warm welcome at the the hotel that I could ever had wished for. Kinga and Christian are both so nice, helpfull and easy going that I emediately felt at home. I loved the work. I got to practice my German and learned so much about being a waitres, because I got to do the service and meet all the wonderfull guests, aswell as the sweet and fun kitchen-team of strong local forces. I truly recommend going to this little piece of Alpen paradise!

I spent a wonderful month here, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Kinga and Christian own a truly amazing hotel, and they made sure everything was perfect from day one.
Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The work was enjoyable and straightforward, and all the teammates I worked with were kind and sweet, always ready to lend a hand.
The living conditions were amazing, the room was great and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. On top of all that, the location is absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by gorgeous mountains.

I had a great experience at Hotel the hotel! The people of the team were honestly one of the kindest people I ever met, always making sure we were comfortable et doing good. The work was fair and included helping with the prep, doing the service and the cleaning up of the tables. The clients are also extra kind and accommodating for non German speakers. The working hours were at the beginning or end of the day, which leaves you a lot of time to explore the outdoors! Finally, if you are a mountain lover, you have to try it out! It is absolutely amazing!
