Upeshka and Anoj are really lovely hosts. This stay really feels like you are in the middle of the sri lankan hills - exactly what we wanted. It was an opportunity to relax and be outside. Upeshka is very organised and helps with all activities. We did stage 7 of the pekoe hike, visited swim-able waterfalls and rivers, had a tour and tea tasting with a local tea factory. The jobs are less than advertised, Anoj and Upeshka want to create a space for travellers to relax and explore. We watered plants daily and other small jobs. I'd recommend staying here to anyone looking for a memorable stay

I enjoyed staying at Teddyeco. I feel nature and local culture in SriLanka. I saw nice view from here and I love this tea garden view. And I ate curry many times. Every time I enjoyed eating. Staying Teddyeco is special experience for me.

Upeksha and Anoj are lovely people who care a lot about sharing Sri Lankan culture with anybody who is willing to listen. Upeksha and Anoj's mom (who cooked while I was there) were super accommodating when it came to my spice tolerance which I really appreciated. Staying at the home, in a small local village, provided me with a very unique, local experience that I don't think I could get anywhere else. If you love nature, the home is perfect for you! Upeksha and Anoj are happy to help plan your days if you want to explore the area! The pekoe trail (stage 7) was absolutely stunning!

I stayed with Anoj and Upeksha for 5 nights and I feel like this was the perfect length for a stay here. At the home you can slow down, experience Sri Lankan rural life and contribute to the land on your own initiative. There isn't really a schedule for things (making field trips or working on the land, cooking, cleaning, etc) so make sure to let Anoj and Upeksha know what your interests and preferences are :-) Anoj knows a lot about local biodiversity and Upeksha does great work with the local communities!

It was an amazing experience and by far the most authentic Worldpackers experience we've had so far. We stayed with an incredibly welcoming family who truly made us feel at home and took great care of us. It felt much more like a homestay than a job, with a relaxed workload. There's plenty to explore in the area if you're open to using local buses. This experience is perfect for anyone who wants to go off the beaten path and genuinely connect with local people and nature.

Anoj, Upeksha and their family are really nice people, and welcomed us with open arms to their home. The stay there was pleasing overall. Every meal was prepared at the right time and they always asked if we wanted more food. The place was super clean and cozy. We felt at home. The only inconvenience came when it was time for us to leave, they had a personal emergency and it wasn't handled with our best interests in mind. But we understood it was a difficult situation. We recomend this place if you want to disconnect and immerse in the local culture.

For our second week in Sri Lanka it was the perfect place! We were welcomed really warmly and felt comfortable from the begging till the end. We explored the really green and beautiful environment, we experienced the culture and had a really nice time with Upekscha and the others.
