My experience at the hostel was very good💫. I felt very comfortable and well received during my stay. Everything agreed upon was fulfilled, the responsibilities and the schedules were clear from the beginning, and I was able to carry out my duties in an organized manner. I also had my days off, which allowed me to enjoy and get to know more about the place.🇵🇪🥹 I appreciate the clarity, the good organization, and the opportunity to have been part of this experience. I take away good memories and a very positive feeling about my time at the hostel. I highly recommend it to all travelers 🥳🫶🏻✨

It is a spacious, very tidy and clean place. Volunteer schedules are respected. A good atmosphere with fellow volunteers and a quiet place to stay in a very good location close to everything. I would recommend it 100%.

My experience as a volunteer at the 1900 Hostel was really special. From the moment I arrived I felt that it wasn't just a place to stay or to help out, but a space with a very particular magic, the kind that lets you disconnect a little from the routine and, at the same time, connect with new people, new experiences, and with yourself. I loved being able to experience the hostel from the inside, share with the team, contribute through my work, and feel part of the space during my stay. 💛

It was a GREAT volunteering experience! I would definitely do it again if I had the opportunity! I was very well received by everyone! The team is wonderful and the high-energy vibe is the norm! It was very satisfying! I stayed for breakfast and I could connect very well with all my fellow volunteers, as well as interact with many guests! Special prices for washing volunteers' clothes; they were also very kind to accept my request to switch beds. I recommend! 10/10!\nPlus: The owners have other hostels (Cusco and Paracas, if I'm not mistaken), which could facilitate volunteering in those other cities!

I recommend this volunteering opportunity! The hostel is located in the city center, so it's perfect for going out to explore the city. The working hours are usually in the morning, which leaves time to enjoy the day. The team is very welcoming and warm, and the experience allows you to meet local and international people. You can participate in all the activities offered by the hostel and the vibe is great!

The tasks are very clear and simple, the schedules are flexible. Adrián lived up to everything we needed; the place is nice and comfortable, I recommend it. You don't know Lima until you experience the hostel.

During my days in the hostel I had to work in housekeeping and at breakfast, the truth is that the flexible hours, clear tasks, and my colleagues were gold. Breakfast allowed me to practice my languages and socialize. The only thing I would definitely improve a lot is the space for volunteers; my room felt very uncomfortable, they didn't give me the key to it and I couldn't enter or exit there if there wasn't someone who had it, on the floor there was concrete, not carpet, it felt a bit bad. Personally the work-reward relationship wasn't very fair. In the same way I feel grateful.

My experience involved doing work in the restaurant/hospitality industry. From my point of view, it's more of a job for men. I ended up with my right hand injured from the work. However, I continued doing it because I had already made a commitment. Adrián, who was like our direct supervisor, was really great and attentive. The schedules were followed, but for me the experience was a bit intense. The rest of the staff were also very good and attentive. And on the plus side, the hostel is well located, close to the historic center and Lima's tourist attractions.
