Sandra and Jonathan are really nice. The farm is great and the animals very cute. Be aware that you have to walk one hour and more when you want to get into town, although you always can ask Sandra and Jonathan when they ll do their grocery shopping and they give you a ride

I had an unforgettable stay, thank you Sandra and Jonathan! From the moment I arrived, they welcomed me with a lot of kindness and quickly made me feel at home. I learned so much during this experience, especially about the animals, life on the farm, and living as close to nature as possible. Taking care of the animals was one of my favourite parts, and I'm really going to miss them all. Sandra and Jonathan are lovely, caring people and are always available if you need anything. I also loved meeting the other volunteers and sharing this experience with them (Noemi, Ansgar and Ana 🫶🏻)

I'm so grateful I had the chance to volunteer here. Sandra and Jonathan are incredibly kind, always available, and very flexible. They really take the time to teach you and share their knowledge about the farm, nature, animals, and sustainable living. I learned so much during my stay, which made the experience even more meaningful. The accommodation was great, and it was also an amazing opportunity to meet volunteers from all over the world. The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful, and full of wildlife. I'm leaving with wonderful memories and would definitely recommend.

I spent one month in the farm with Sandra and Jonathan, and it was incredible. I had the opportunity the learn about farming, animals and plants. Sandra and Jonathan are very supportive and always available to help out the volunteers, also the accomodation provided was really good. I had a great time there, I was able to practice my Spanish meet people from different countries and visit incredible places in Costa Rica. The work in the farm can be tiring, but it's totally rewarded by what you learn, the places you can visit and the full immersion in the nature that you are gonna experience.

Loved this place! Sandra and Jonathan were amazing and wonderful hosts. The rules at the farm were clear and reasonable. I learned a lot about the animals on the farm. They helped me during my stay with spanish and finding the right busses. Really enjoyed my time in here and definitely recommend if you want to live bit off the grid and not in the city! Also the sunsets from the apartment were beautiful! 🤩🌅

My experience at Sandra and Jonathan's farm was amazing, they are always so attentive, flexible, and friendly towards their volunteers and we always felt we had support during our stay there. The house in which volunteers stay at is in good condition and I never had problems with cleanliness or anything else there, the hosts make sure to remind their volunteers that the place should always be kept clean, so in my experience everybody helped one another in keeping the space maintained. The work was not super difficult, a little physical but you get used to it quickly. I would do this again!!!!

Jonathan and Sandra are wonderful hosts. The apartment was cozy and rustic and my roommates were awesome. The work was easy but the weather was hot but that's what I like. The beach was an hour by bus and easy to access. I will go back!

Really good experience!! Sandra and Jonathan make you feel confortable immediately, explaining the community answering our questions! It makes you feel that you are a real part of the farm!!! The place is really nice and clean and just after a bit feels like home! The animals are super nice and affective! If you want to learn about animals and live an experience in the middle of nature, come to Sandra's and Jonathan's ! :))

I absolutely loved my time on the community stayed a bit longer! I loved meeting all of the animals, learning to milk goats and gain confidence handling them was amazing. Also helping a baby cow to feed! Looking after the chickens and pigs too. There are also sheep 🐑 and cats and dogs! I learned so much about the challenges of life off grid but the accommodation was super comfy. I had my own room and shared a kitchen and bathroom with the other volunteers on the farm. The work was a lot of fun and I am so grateful for my time here! Jonathan and Sandra are so lovely too! Thank you 🩵

My partner and I had an amazing time at Jonathan & Sandras Farm. The hosts were great. Because they have been volunteers before they know how it is and are very helpful and supportive. We learned a lot about animals on their farm, mostly because they trusted us to do the tasks on our own. If you are looking forward to spending time with animals and to connect with other volunteers or with amazing hosts this is a great place for doing it. But you should be aware that on a farm problems can come out of nowhere and you will need to help even if you are not really expecting it at the moment.
