Had a great time with Luka and Natja on the farm. There was always a variety of tasks to do if you wanted to change what you were doing or became tired. Luka was very good with sharing information about everything that needed to be done and why and I loved learning about the process of the farm and the plans for the future. 5 hours work, 3 meals, caravan to sleep in and bike access! My first volunteering experience was in Slovenia, specifically in a small, beautiful mountainous region with wonderful local people who are incredibly kind and welcoming. Thank you for your rating. We were very surprised, because all our other volunteers had a really positive experience. We welcomed you into our home, took you swimming and organized a picnic... even though your work was slow and inefficient. But we understood it was your first experience . What surprised us most was the lack of communication: we asked daily if everything was OK, and you always said yes, ‘gotcha’, ‘sounds good’… We also said from day one that we were open to discuss any concerns.
