Amazing <3 Mario and German are genuinely some of the best humans I have ever met. I am so grateful I was able to spend time on their farm. I cannot express how much the work, conversations, lessons (and food) meant to me.

One of the happiest and most meaningful experiences of my life, even in just 14 days. The farm is peaceful, natural, and full of lovely animals.

Germán is a kind, generous, and creative host who cooks amazing homemade food every day. I learned farming skills, improved my Spanish,It's my first farm stay and first volunteering experience, and it gave me such beautiful memories! He also shared special local experiences with us, like an unforgettable cave concert and so on.

For a peaceful countryside stay, cultural exchange, great food, and a warm host, I highly recommend it.

This is a great experience to learn about the reality of a working rose garden and farm, and you very much feel like an integral part of it! Germán and Mario are very warm, welcoming, and generous, always serving up a delicious plate of food at the end of your shift and giving advice on where to go in the local area. We even got to celebrate Noche de San Juan with Germán and his friends!

I would recommend a car as the village is quite remote. The accomodation is quite basic and the work is tough, but I overall found it as a challenging, rewarding and educational experience!

Undoubtedly, it is one of the volunteer programs where I have learned the most about the local culture and shared the most with the hosts and the community. Germán and Mario are very generous with their knowledge, they are concerned with teaching you and they also are interested in learning and listening to each of the volunteers. All tasks are very clear and well explained, the schedules are very respected, the meals are delicious, and in the free time you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Infinitely grateful to be able to contribute to the farm and for all that has been shared!

My experience in Camales was wonderful. Germán and Mario are attentive and loving; they work together with the volunteers, which allows you to learn a lot from them, both about plants and crops and about their life philosophy. The work schedules are very well organized and the tasks are clear and entertaining. Also, both of them cook incredibly well and mealtimes felt like a gift. I hope to return soon to see how their beautiful project evolves and, above all, to share with them that they are excellent people and made me feel at home 💛

Mario and Germán welcomed us very well! It was a very lovely experience, we mainly worked on a rose cultivation, helping with pruning waste, fertilizing and mulching. But the tasks are very varied and depend on the season. We ate very well, Germán cooks very well. We were able to share with other volunteers as well. I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a work experience in the countryside and learn a lot!

German and Mario were very kind and I felt very comfortable on their farm. The place is surrounded by nature and is sometimes easy to access. Work hours are respected; some days we worked in the rain or did tasks from earlier days, but afterwards Germán waited for us with a plate of food and a smile. I learned a lot about the crops they have and I shared with volunteers from other countries.

My experience with this volunteering was pleasant, meeting Don German and Mr. Mario; they are wonderful guides, and if any young person would like to connect with nature and not be in the city, this would be your ideal volunteering opportunity.
I am grateful to both of them for making my stay pleasant, and keep in mind that roses are affectionate, many thanks for everything.
