My experience at this hostel was very special! The reception and cleaning staff are incredible; everyone was very receptive, kind, and always willing to help me when I needed it. The volunteer activities were organized; it was possible to balance the work with the moments to enjoy Rio. It was my first volunteering at a hostel, and I loved having been at the hostel.

Staying 1 month at the hostel was amazing, my first experience as a volunteer, the place is very good, a quieter hostel, the guys at the reception were family in that moment, Vinícius was an amazing host, took care of me from when I arrived until I left, Dudu was great, Gabriel, Igor, Erick, all of them live in my 🩷. I was able to experience Rio, make many friends, and be very happy!! I would always come back 🩷

I had a great time at Palace; the atmosphere is welcoming and everyone greeted me in the best possible way. The facilities are very good, the breakfast is complete and it's just a few steps from the Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. Prime location.
I connected with people from all over the world, I have beautiful memories.

It was an interesting experience where I could use my creative and graphic design skills. The space is very comfortable, the only thing is that the kitchen is quite small but always clean. The rooms are nice; you have to share the space with other guests but it ends up being a variable experience (days when you connect with people and nights when you don't sleep well because of the noise). My only recommendations: update the service hours shown in the app since they are different in reality, also the volunteer manual; consider the hours and workload, everything else is great :)🙌🏼💙

This was my 10th volunteer experience and I’ve never found such a big gap between the benefits offered and the level of demand. As other volunteers have already reported, 4 hours per day are not enough to do tours/activities with guests, record, edit and post content. It’s impossible to do all of this without using free time. When I brought this issue to management, I found little empathy, flexibility, and openness to dialogue. In return, we only got an upper bunk, with no meals and no laundry. Dudu, Lucy, Samantha, Bê, Gui, Igor and Eric: you were the best part of this experience. ❤️

My stay at Palace was really nice! The environment is really very clean and well maintained, the location is excellent, the team is wonderful and the guests have always been kind and nice to me. The only point that leaves something to be desired is that the activities exceed what was previously agreed; in practice the volunteering demands take far longer than 4 hours and can be exhausting if you have other relevant demands. I think that if there were one more volunteer, taking turns on the days, it would be perfect! In any case, I am grateful to Palace for all the learning during this month that I stayed there 🙏🏻

My experience at the hostel was amazing; I stayed a short time, but I confess I would stay longer; a welcoming environment, the staff very kind, solicitous; I made many friendships there and connected; the place is super organized, I felt at home, near the main beaches. The tasks were respected; I felt free to create contents because it's what I work with and it was incredible; highly recommended.

El lugar al estar rodeado de naturaleza y animales te invita a bajar el ritmo. Puedes hacerle seguimiento a las diferentes clases de animales, aves, micos, hormigas, arañas.. Sus rutinas, sus sonidos.. Solo hay dos puntos fuertes de conexión a internet, recepción y habitación de voluntarios. Hace frío y es Húmedo! llevar ropa abrigada y repelente. Lleguen después de las 8 am. Ya perdí la cuenta de todas las veces que hice fogata, de las veces que lloré ante la gratitud de estar en ese lugar. Dejo la vara muy alta como 1er voluntariado.
