My experiencethe farm Cheryl and Charles' farm was really good. They are two very nice and friendly people, and the manager SW is also a person who knows a lot about farms, so I learned a lot from them The food is veryyyy good and they are very relaxed about it. The whole experience was really enriching and I learned so much during my stay I also want to thank Charles' daughters, Adrian, and Luka and Ela. They were all very kind and friendly with me and made my stay even better I will definitely come back soon! Thank you all for everything, I really enjoyed my stay and I'm very grateful

Staying with Cheryl and Charles was a great experience. They are extremely welcoming, made me feel like family, and I feel like I made a lifelong connection with them. My main job was feeding the pigs and helping around the farm. The work gets physicalthe farm times, but it's straightforward and very doable. Just keep in mind the location is pretty isolated. It's great if you want quiet downtime to yourself during the week, but if you want to explore Georgia, save your outings for the weekends. Highly recommend if you want a solid farm stay with wonderful hosts!

It was my first volunteering and I was very nervous before arriving there. But the whole experience went well, everything was fine. Charles and Cheryl always made sure there was vegetarian option for me in the meals and also i had proper internet connection and place for my work. I mostly worked in the orchard and quite enjoyed it. Meeting other volunteers and people in the farm, exchanging cultures, learning about local life in Georgia made this first experience unforgettable for me. Thanks for the hospitaliy and good memories. Special thanks for the b.day celebration and farewell dinner.

Charles has a beautiful family. Tami, his daughter, was my guide during the two months I spent on the farm. Her patience, tenderness, and positive energy made all the hard work much easier, along with her husband, Adrian. Gudya, the Georgian manager, introduced us to some local customs and spread good vibes. I met other volunteers like Ocean (Hong Kong), Rafael (Azerbaijan), Maxi (Germany), and Artur (Brazil), and I have wonderful memories of them all, especially Pau, another Argentinian, whom I'll always carry in my heart. Thank you for joining me on my first Worldpackers experience. .

Charles and his family is very friendly. I stay there for a month just like stay with my family, they always care about my needs. The staff also is nice, they are patient to teach me everything . My work is mainly to feed the cattle, sometimes help to fix the fence. After work, i can have my own time or i can spend my time with other volunteers and the host. I had 2days off per week, it is flexible to arrange my day off. It's really a good stay to stay with good people, cute cattle and nice view.

Overall, it was a good experience. You can connect with the animals and with nature. If you like animals, the place where I stayed was comfortable and pleasant. In addition, the food was excellent throughout my entire stay. The only thing I would say is that communication needs to be improved. Many times the tasks were not explained clearly, and the hosts should improve the way they communicate with volunteers. That's all I can say!

I wouldn't recommend this experience. The communication from hosts is way beyond the norms. They can shoutthe farm you, behave aggressively, interrupt you, show no respect towards you. Especially Cheryl - host's wife. Having done over 15 volunteering experiences - this was the worst. No benefits like food, accommodation, working in nature - nothing can hide the fact that you constantly feel like walking on eggshells. I saw the bad reviews before coming but decided to try anyway, because you know, maybe it was an occasional thing. But no, that environment is absolutely destructive for volunteers.

The hosts were flexible with arrival and departure times, the food was very good, and extra hours were paid. However, the experience often felt more like being a worker than a volunteer. The workload was physically demanding, and there was little training or guidance before tasks. Expectations were high, and mistakes were not always handled constructively. Communication could be difficult, with frequent shouting between the hosts and, the farmtimes, towards volunteers, creating a stressful atmosphere. The farm may suit experienced volunteers, but beginners may find it challenging.

As agreed, it was 25 hours a week from Monday to Friday, starting around 9 am and finishingthe farm 2 pm. If I wanted to work beyond the 5 daily hours of voluntary work, these were paid, as were weekend hours; normally these were days off, but Charles asked if I fancied workingthe farm the weekend, again for pay. It was a tough and demanding experience, but I learnt a great deal – not only about feeding the animals and running this sort of business, but I also developed transferable skills such as teamwork. It was tough, but it gave me a great sense of fulfilment. People with whom I worked were nice.
