Her family is so sweet and you can practice your Spanish with them. Gissela showed me around the island and gave me good recommendations for my stay. Would definitely come back. The experience was good. The schedules were met, but the work was heavier than what we had discussed earlier. The garden had a lot of construction waste, and we removed a lot of iron and heavy metals. The guesthouse was nice, but the kitchen we used when the house had guests was not designed for volunteers. Gissela has been kind and respectful. San Cristóbal is a beautiful island. I recommend the experience.
