Program Details

Volunteers contribute around 20 hours per week (3–4 hours per day) with 2 days off. The schedule is flexible depending on activities and small guest gatherings.

Tasks may include visiting the traditional morning market, assisting with food preparation in our open kitchen, setting up shared meals for small groups (usually 5–10 people), light cleaning of common areas, simple garden care, and helping maintain our natural spring conservation area.

We value initiative, respect, and a calm attitude. This is a family home and community space, not a commercial restaurant or party hostel. Some days are active, some are quiet — flexibility is important.

In exchange, we provide shared accommodation (bunk bed room), breakfast, WiFi, cultural exchange, and hands-on experience in small-scale sustainability and traditional cooking. We ask for a contribution of $11 per day to support accommodation, utilities, and conservation maintenance.

This experience is best suited for travelers who appreciate slow living, meaningful connection, and simple village life.

Activities & Shift

Shifts are usually 3–4 hours per day, 5 days per week (20 hours total). Schedule may be morning or afternoon depending on activities and guest days.

Possible Daily Tasks:
Visit the traditional morning market (selected days)
Assist with food preparation in the open kitchen
Set up shared dining area for small gatherings (5–10 guests)
Wash dishes and help clean common spaces
Simple garden care and watering
Help maintain the spring and surrounding area
Support small cooking or fermentation sessions (when scheduled)

Some days are more active, especially when we have visitors. Other days are slower and focused on maintenance or preparation.
We work together as a team in a relaxed environment — communication and flexibility are important.
