When I say my experience here was a gift and one of the most cherish able times I'll ever have, it's far from exaggeration. Not only because the house in the mountains was gorgeous, same as the town, but more importantly Caro wil go above and far beyond to fulfill your wants and needs during your stay. She brought me along to some of her activities, showed me local hiking trails, drove me down or communicated perfectly when she would be back to catch a ride. The work would never be too tough and you can really learn a lot from Caro. You will not regret staying here. I already want to return.

I enjoyed my stay with Caro very much! She and her daughter are living in a beautiful place almost fully created by themselfes. There are lots of different things to do around the house and the garden. She takes into account the infividual‘s strenghts and chooses tasks accordingly. You can also do things you still want to learn, and she can teach you a lot about sustainability. There are many great opportunities in the area for hiking and other beautiful nature experiences. She also knows many people from the surrounding villages and was able to introduce me to a local carpenter. Recommend!!

It's an incredibly beautiful place. Carolina and Alila created an ideal life in the countryside in a beautiful community. She knows a lot about the home living and permaculture. Plus, since she is an experienced yoga instructor, you can learn a lot from her. The work and the hours are quite flexible and changes with the circumstances so you will never get bored. The nearby towns have many beautiful waterfalls and wonderful nature. Carolina is an active person, doing a lot and inviting you to join her too. Also you have your own room and privacy as well. I would definitely recommend it :)

I highly recommend volunteering! The hours are flexible and the work is pleasant and simple. We worked from 9 am to 12 pm, and in the afternoon we had the opportunity to visit Tanti and its wonderful waterfalls! It was a fantastic adventure, and we connected beautifully with Carolina, who is a very inspiring person! I would recommend it to everyone!

This was my first volunteering experience, and honestly it couldn't have been better. I learned a lot in general, Caro is very flexible and you can talk about anything with her. It's a house in the middle of the mountains, very quiet, everything in good condition. I loved everything I saw during the trip and what I did; thanks to this experience I noticed many things about myself that I would like to improve, and there are also many things about organization that I would like to change when volunteering. I recommend this experience if you like tranquility and helping out in a house in nature!

I take away a lot of learning from this exchange, not only related to permaculture but also from being able to participate in the yoga classes and in the lifestyle of Carolina and her beautiful daughter Alila (and the pets, of course). I had a beautiful experience with Caro and her daughter, Alila, who welcomed me with great kindness. I learned a lot in just one week of volunteering, about permaculture and a sustainable lifestyle.

The house, the environment, the people, every aspect was incredibly welcoming and serene. I was given great flexibility in my working hours, when to carry out the tasks, and even after finishing everything there was to do I was allowed to do what I preferred.
We went for a hike together to Los Gigantes, and I was advised of other hikes in the surrounding areas that I could do very easily on my own.
I am grateful to have connected with Carol, who was able to help me with the countless doubts that arise when you travel, and also about life.
