Overall, I had a lovely experience volunteering at the hotel. The facilities were good and the other volunteers made this so great! Although you do not receive any training or instructions, the work was not difficult. MOST of the staff at the hotel were amazing, welcoming, and helpful, especially Georgina and Santiago, I will miss them! On the other hand, the woman who works morning shift, Laura, was pretty disrespectful to the volunteers. She talked down to us, yelled at us for not doing jobs we were not taught, and threw out our food multiple times. She really tainted my time here.

My experience at the Ángeles Hotel was incredible
From the moment I arrived, Laura welcomed me and made me feel very at ease with everything I had to do at the hotel.
The communication with Milagros was always very clear and fast.
Laura was one of the best people I met in Mar del Plata, as were the other hotel staff.
We did many things together, such as taking care of the garden, making apple pie, and drinking mate together (I had never tried!).
The activities at the hotel are simple, but very important.
There is a lot of flexibility with the schedules and, in addition, the city is enchanting.

El hotel Ángeles was a wonderful place, I felt at home and warmly welcomed by Juan and Milagros even before arriving in Mar del Plata! The tasks are simple but engaging, my stay was peaceful, which allowed me to get to know other places in the city since what was agreed upon in terms of hours and tasks was always respected. A very special hug to Debora, Julio, and the whole team who were part of making my first volunteering experience so beautiful. I carry memories and human warmth with me.
