Andrés and his family are warm, generous and genuine people. They provided a safe, peaceful and engaging environment to stay in. Even though the location is a small country town, there was a diverse range of activities to participate in and locals to interact with. I enjoyed learning about local culture (language and food) and learning about the local environment, during free time I explored the surrounding reserve. The place has a fascinating history and Andrés has a lot of knowledge about it. Each day was kept interesting with a fluid schedule. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

My time volunteering with Andrew and his beautiful family was nothing short of amazing. This experience allowed me to fully immerse myself in genuine Argentine daily life, but what made it truly unique was the incredible mix of cultures—I also got to experience Australian and Brazilian vibes all in one place! I truly hope the upcoming museum project and everything else they are working on runs perfectly smoothly. Wishing Andrew, Damaris, and their lovely kids all the happiness and joy in the world.

Spending one week in Ascochinga was such an enriching experience!
Andrés and Dámaris are wonderful hosts, they made me feel so comfortable right from the beginning and were very engaged to provide me a great stay, took me to other villages and places, so I could get to know the culture and the beautiful nature, hiking routes and rivers.
I studied and played with their daughter, helped with easy cleaning tasks and renovated rooms in the museum.
Indeed the history of the place is stunning, so many secrets you can find out and sharing this fascination with the hosts made my stay very unique!

It was a very beautiful experience, and I am very grateful to Andrés, Damaris, Ana and David for welcoming me into their cozy home. It is a project that needs a lot of restoration support because it is a historic place. I was able to help in an area because I detected that it could be done, and the proposal was very well received by the family. There was a lot of time spent with the family, and I met a group that joined the project. They gave us (me and Ger, another volunteer) the opportunity to participate in a trek to a beautiful waterfall they organized, and I could learn about the history of the organization.

It was a very good experience! Andrés, Damaris, Ana and David, thank you so much for this time, for welcoming me so warmly! The place is beautiful, full of history and beauty. It was a calm time with a lot of conversation and reflection. The work is calm and flexible; one moment you might be at the museum with a team and then playing with Ana and David, for example. God bless this family always!

There are places you know and others you live. For me, Ascotinga was that. Sharing with such incredible people, discovering a way of life so simple and authentic, surrounded by nature, and being able to contribute a little bit through volunteering was an experience I will never forget. I'm leaving with many lessons, stories, and a huge affection for this place. I got to Córdoba, yes, but I feel that Ascotinga really made this trip special.

Spending these days with Andrés and his family was an amazing experience. From the very first moment, they do everything to make you feel comfortable and truly part of the family. The conversations are light, interesting, and make you feel at home. Everyone is very welcoming, always willing to share stories, help, and include the volunteer in the routine.
The place is spacious, surrounded by plenty of nature and full of history. They are putting a lot of effort into restructuring the space. The house is roomy, comfortable, well-heated, and very welcoming.

I really loved it; it's not a job with fixed hours, but a shared life with the family. We help them daily, and we also go out with them like one of their children. I was warmly welcomed and I highly recommend this experience.
