I really enjoyed my experience at the guest house. Over the two weeks I painted two murals and assisted with general housework and assistance with guests. Due to the hostel being very new, there were not many guests, so I would not suggest the position if you wanted to meet a large amount of people. However, Señora Lila & Co. made me feel like a part of a true Peruvian family which I found so much more valuable. We ate together frequently and got to know each other which I found incredibly enjoyable. I would strongly recommend a volunteer that is learning Spanish, as I improved a lot during my stay.

I had a very good experience at the guest house. It is a beautiful, quiet place with an atmosphere where you really feel at home. Ari and his mother make the space very welcoming, and it's also easy to build a good relationship with the other guests. The tasks and responsibilities were clearly communicated most of the time, the volunteer hours and days were always respected, and there was always flexibility to make changes when they were notified in advance. No doubt, it's a place I would recommend.

My days in the house were very peaceful; I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel, this allowed me to rest, get to know the city and its surroundings. The tasks were simple and the shifts were planned with Ari and negotiable in the face of any unforeseen event. She and her family were incredibly attentive and kind, thanks for everything 💗 The best thing about the hostel without a doubt is the view, waking up and seeing the snow-capped peaks is incredible.

La Casa is a cozy, tranquil place with many things to do. Arietna and her family are very kind and respectful; they make you feel at home. Huaraz offers countless places to explore and the view from the hostel is beautiful, nothing beats breakfast every day with the Cordillera Blanca in the background. Many thanks to the La Casa family for all their understanding and availability.

The house was much more than volunteer work; it became a true home. Being part of this family was an experience full of learning and unforgettable moments. I deeply thank Lili, Ari and everyone for their warmth and trust. Contributing to networks and projects was enriching, always with clear objectives and a calm environment. When I wanted to give more, it was for personal motivation and the desire to help. I will soon return to this beautiful hostel! I will miss you all a lot, in the meantime❤️

This is my second volunteering experience and it was completely different from the first.
I had the opportunity not only to collaborate with the hostel but also to feel part of the family.
Many thanks to Ari, Lila and our grandma Fidela for always being attentive to whatever I might need.
Huaraz is a wonderful area to explore; if you love nature, it's your place. It's impressive!
If you are looking to meet a lot of people or a party hostel, this is not the place.
This is a new hostel that's growing; it's a homey environment, although at times you might feel lonely.
