Class On The Clouds is a non-profit community education project developed by Wolo Tours JSC, connecting international volunteers with local students in Vietnam's mountainous northern region. Through informal English classes and cultural exchange, we help local children build confidence and communication skills while giving volunteers an authentic, meaningful travel experience beyond the tourist trail.
Since launching, we've run 14 classes, welcomed 916 students, and delivered over 945 teaching hours — connecting more than 70 volunteers from 20+ countries and regions with local communities. Our work has been featured by Tuyen Quang Radio & Television, and we've officially partnered with the Ha Giang 1 Ward People's Committee to develop a community education model tied to sustainable tourism in the region.
As a volunteer, you'll live with a local host family, teach conversational English to children and community members, and immerse yourself in local life — from daily routines to festivals and traditions. This is a two-way exchange: you'll shape young minds and, in return, discover a side of Vietnam few travelers ever see.
