We had a really great time in Santa Catalina and would definitely recommend this experience! The location and views are absolutely beautiful, the work is relaxed, and our working hours were always respected. Everything offered on Worldpackers was provided as promised. For future volunteers, it's good to know that you should enjoy spending time with children, as childcare was a big part of our tasks. The accommodation is different from the cabins shown on the profile, so it's nice to know beforehand. Santa Catalina is a perfect place to slow down, surf and relax.

Volunteering at the host was super lovely, the hosts made me feel very welcome and have been helpful the whole time. Working hours were respected, its usually looking after the kids, folding laundry or cleaning the common areas. You can rent surfs there or get surf lessons with a discount. Very much recommend this experience!

Rancho Estero fue mi primer voluntariado y fue una gran experiencia, Elli y Zigor son grandes anfitriones y pude practicar surf y poco de inglés, las tareas y horarios fueron los acordados. 100% recomiendo el voluntariado. Como a mí me gustan los niños convivir con los chicos fue increíble y muy divertido. Solo recomiendo a otros voluntarios llevar medicamentos básicos ya que la única farmacia está como a 20 minutos caminando y algunos días cierra temprano. Muchas gracias Elli y Zigor. Un abrazo :)
