I left feeling like I received so much more than I given. Stay with Tuan was a truly authentic experience. He welcomed me into his daily life introduced me to the local community, took me to the morning market, involved me in farm activities. He you want he can also take you to the Ba Vì mountain national park (or ride the bike together through the rice fields!!). Tuan is kind and generous, he always cares about his volunteers and always tries to make them feel at home (also with the food requirements). Those experience gave me the chance to discover a side of Vietnam that I would never have

I had a wonderful experience at the farm with Tuan and his brother, who took great care of everything. I was especially interested in the lodge production process and had the chance to be involved in every step, from harvesting to tasting the lodge. We also enjoyed many other activities, such as cycling, fishing, visiting the local market and pineapple farmers, and exploring the cultural village. Overall, it was a meaningful and authentic experience, and I truly appreciated the opportunity to be part of their daily life. I'm very grateful for their hospitality

It was my first time volunteering while traveling. I had a fantastic week on the farm. Tuan is a great and very kind host. I could learn a lot about the daily life on a farm, the lodge fermentation and the people. I really enjoyed to make my own the lodge. Furthermore, it was a very special experience to go to a yoga class with the neighbor and to visit the pineapple farm around the corner. On our day trip to the local village I could learn more about the many different ethnic groups, which I truly enjoyed. Thank you, Tuan!

I had a wonderful time at the farm with Tuan and his brother. The dorm was clean, with private toilet and bathroom. They took really good care of us, as the food was amazing every meals of the day! Even a special dinner for the birthday of my partner, it was amazing! The tasks are different everyday, and we learned many things! This week time spent so fast that we did not see the end of the week coming ! We recommend 100% !

It exceeded my expectations - i stayed one week longer than planned. Not only was the making of the lodge (which included picking, kneading and drying the lodge) an interesting experience, but also all the other different interactions that happens on and outside the farm (ping pong playing, garding, trip to Ba Vì mountain and learning about how to cultivate plants). The bycicle tours were also full of meeting people and conversing / drinking the lodge / playing volleyball etc. with them. Diving into the local life and meeting the most welcoming people in Ba Vì, was really something i was looking for!🇻🇳🫂

I was on the farm, and at Tuan's family home near Sapa over Tet - which I would definitely recommend if you're around in Feb. On the farm, the room was super spacious and clean, the beds are very hard but there are more than enough duvets to solve that problem. My work was bricklaying for the chicken coup so it was physical but manageable, and other volunteers did less physical work like decorating. There is handling of chickens and ducks involved which may be distressing for some, but if you really didn't want to no one is going to force you.
