Jm and Julie are amazing hosts the kids are brilliant as well and full of life i couldn't of asked for a better host while I have been here I'm going to stay with them again because they made me feel like I am a part of their family and I've made some life long friends with these. I can't wait to see their house finished they work so hard them self they really are a good family for the community they help out so much and try to make you feel as welcome as possible. We had an amazing experience with this family! They welcomed us into their home and their family with warmth and respect. We learned a lot by working and we could see a lot of progression in our work! JM and Julie were patient and explained the tasks so it was easy for us to understand. They always made sure that we had everything we needed. The food was amazing and we really enjoyed getting to know the family while playing games and spending time together outside of working. We are so grateful for this experience and would recommend it to everyone!!

I had a fantastic stay in the farm with a warm and welcoming family who truly make you feel at home. Julie and JM ensured I had the best experience, teaching me skills in electricity, plumbing, mechanics, DIY, gardening... the food was amazing. The schedules were flexible. I was always welcome to share family meals, play board games, etc so that I would really feel included in the family, while also respecting the fact that sometimes I preferred to have time to myself. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys working, learning, sharing unique moments and being in the countryside!

Although I was welcomed properly and the family was lovely, unfortunately my experience was dampened by the actions of a host that made me feel uncomfortable and left me no choice but to leave early. The farm is very pretty and theres many pets, but I feel the work was a bit a more than I anticipated, with rest times mostly taken up by eating with the family. And because the location was so isolated, I felt there was not much time to get out and explore the surrounding areas without getting someone to drive me there. I would definitely recommend going with a friend or partner.

Overall, I think it was a good experience. I knew that this volunteering required physical effort, and the truth is that I did get tired, since I usually work on a computer. I liked that they were patient with me since I had never done any of the activities I carried out in the volunteering. It is a good place to get away from the chaos of the city. Gardening served as therapy for me. If you want to travel, keep in mind that it’s a bit difficult if you don’t have a car, since there isn’t much transportation to this site in particular.

Julie and JM are good hosts, very attentive and generous. The children are really adorable. They helped me at all times to improve, they taught me quite a bit about what they do and they welcomed me well. You have to go with a good disposition to fulfill the tasks, which require good physical condition. Keep in mind that it is far from the big cities.
