The working hours were fair, and I had plenty of free time to enjoy the island and activities. There were always different events and things to do, so it never felt boring. My experience at Thisf Hostel was truly special. I contributed as a musician, performing live sets and playing calming music during yoga classes, which made the experience unique and meaningful. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and very social, yet peaceful. The workload was light and well-balanced, leaving plenty of time to enjoy the beach. The manager was flexible and easy to communicate with, and the owner is incredibly kind and welcoming. It's also one of the best spots for surfing. I would definitely come back again soon to meet these beautiful people!

I'm finishing my volunteer in 2 days and I would've extend it if I could! This hostel is amazing, and the people I met there became like my little family 💗 I have to say there is some improvement to be done with the organization, but I know this is just a matter of time for the team because it's still a new hostel :) I honestly didn't felt like I was really working, work was easy and hours were very clear! I loved my stay so much 💗

The time I spent at the hostel was amazing. The schedule was flexible, and I had enough time to enjoy the beach. It was a great place to meet new people, and every day we organized different activities for the guests. I was even able to organize a salsa lesson, which I proposed myself. I highly recommend this place for volunteering.

We had a great month volunteering at the hostel and really enjoyed our time here! we met so many amazing people from across the world, the we were invited into a wonderful community where there were events on every night. the hostel is right next to the beach meaning in our spare time we could swim/ surf etc. I would recommend for sure:)

Me and my partner volunteered here for 4 weeks. It was amazing to hostel is in the perfect location and always have an event on a night for guests to meet eachother. We met so many good people during our stay and couldn't recommend it enough for people looking to have a good time in Sri Lanka the hostel has a cafe on site which sells really good food to.
