Program Details

And what would you do as a volunteer? Help with reception and guest attention. Support with cleaning and organizing tasks. If you like cooking, you're welcome to help! And if you have other skills, tell us! We love learning from every person who arrives. We love welcoming volunteers who want to connect for real, share their energy, learn, teach, and enjoy a peaceful life. If you are a relaxed person, with good vibes and an open heart, you’ll really like this place.
We try to do everything: reception, bar service, kitchen, entertainment activities, general cleaning, etc.—everything a hostel might need.
You can generate commissions from sales and on some days take extra shifts to earn money (not always). We provide transportation assistance only at the end of your volunteering; if for any reason it is not finished, we will not give commissions nor transportation assistance.

We will provide a staff vest when you are on your 5-hour shift.

Activities & Shift

- money-making opportunity if you decide to take a double shift, if requested -
•ask us about this if it catches your eye•

Rotating shifts: every day (7-12) (12-5) (5-10); shifts are assigned weekly to help you organize daily!
Days off usually Tuesday or Wednesday
1. morning: - breakfasts - cleaning - bathrooms - floors - beds - kitchen - check outs, among others.
2. midday: - cleaning - bathrooms - kitchen - floors - beds - check-in - laundry
3. night: - finish the morning cleaning - activities with guests - laundry - Colombia migration - floors, kitchen, among others
4. You can swap shifts with your colleagues; the important part is not to leave a shift unmanned. We are flexible.
5. We provide the market [Colombian family basic basket] so you can prepare your meals to your taste.
6. You can generate extra income selling your own products, doing activities with the clients. We only communicate to be able to help you and agree.
7. We have an additional hotel next to the hostel; there you can, if we request, generate extra income, in addition to sales commissions.

We lend bicycles on your day off — you generate commissions on sales — tips only for volunteers — good reviews — transportation support are extras we give to our best volunteers.
