My time at the farm was an experience I will never forget! And I 100% recommend it to other volunteers !! My time spent there I got to learn about the local people, Chinese culture, and agriculture/ farming. Each day we got served delicious local food and did jobs around the farm that were not too difficult. Additionally we were given 3 days off a week to explore the city and other parts of china. My the farm on top was the amazing people I met on the trip! Big thanks to host Leela and Chris who worked directly with the volunteers. Along with the other volunteers there!

The best experience without doubt. It gives you the opportunity to know local and foreign people and their culture. The works are vary, interesting and not hard to do. The days off allow you to travel even far, at night you have a lot of time too to rest and chill. It's near to Xi'an, the food is amazing, the place is peaceful. Thanks workers, others volunteers, Leela and especially Chris for making this such a good experience for me. I would recommend this volunteer 100% so if you have the opportunity to come take it. I am very grateful that my friend and I had the opportunity to volunteer on this farm as we have learnt a lot about Chinese culture, language and agriculture. We also made good friends with the other volunteers as we worked together with the locals to package sweet corn and plough the fields for sweet potatoes. We were given adequate days off, and the timetable was flexible, which was particularly helpful given the persistent heat. Living on the farm was a positive and memorable experience thanks to Chris, who welcomed us warmly and took great care of all the volunteers.

I really enjoyed my time at the farm and would highly recommend it to other volunteers. the farm is about an hour from Xi'an. During your stay you can work with local farmers and have a chance to see a different side of China, away from the busy cities. The work is not hard: usually two 3-hour sessions a day, with breaks and three meals provided. You work for 4 days and have 3 days off. The people are friendly and helpful (Chris <3). The living conditions are fine, and there is plenty of free time in the evenings. I met many great people, both locals and other volunteers.

The host family is beautiful and really cares for their farm workers and guests, I would highly recommend this stay! Amazing food provided each day, all fresh from the farm. I had an incredible experience, the work wasn't too difficult and even if it might have been monotonous sometimes, chatting with the other volunteers made it enjoyable. In exchange I was able to enjoy the countryside, meet with the locals, eat delicious homemade food and also practice my Chinese a bit. I highly recommend to try this experience :)

Staying on the farm was incredibly pleasant. It was not hard and the repetition of tasks was quite therapeutic. We spent a lot of time packing produce in the rooms which I also enjoyed as I had time to better understand the locals. Sometimes we would offer to stay and do more work. They could not speak english so it might be a language barrier but I was able to practise my mandarin and better understand local life which I enjoyed. Food was also delicious and fresh.Chris was the main point of contact for the volunteers and he was always very patient and helpful if we ever needed anything.

I absolutely loved my time on the farm! Everyone was so welcoming and warm, from Leela and her parents to Chris and the other locals who worked on the farm. I loved communicating using my mandarin and had some amazing cultural exchange moments. Although the temperatures were hot, the work was not hard and the hours are reasonable with plenty of time to rest. The food was made fresh by the auntie every meal using ingredients fresh from the farm. I loved getting up early to exercise with the all the workers and seeing how healthy they are even at an older age. I would definitely recommend!
