Program Details

If you were looking for a sign to step out of city life and do something meaningful, this is it. Think of a 'man's week' in spirit: show up, take responsibility, learn alongside others and put your strength into something useful. A grounded rite of passage, with real work and people counting on you.

The foundation is already poured. Over the next approximately two months, we aim to progress through brickwork, light timber framing, electrical, plumbing and interior fit-out. This is a rare opportunity to see stages of an actual home build.

You don't need prior experience, come learn at the pace that works for you.

Advent Center at Berivoi is a Christ-centered community built around practical service, kindness and care for one another. Please apply if you are comfortable with this rhythm and our plant-based, substance-free lifestyle.

Rules

Our community culture is built around three simple values: Clean, Calm, and Kind.

CLEAN
Respect the freedom of others by cleaning up after yourself, caring for shared spaces, and maintaining clear-minded habits. Alcohol, recreational drugs, tobacco, vaping, caffeine, processed sugar, and animal products are avoided on the property.

CALM
Respect the time and peace of others by arriving punctually for our shared daily anchors at **7:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m.** Keep conversations, music, devices, and work noise considerate throughout the day.

KIND
Respect personal boundaries, shared resources, and the different backgrounds of those around you. Maintain your individuality while contributing to the harmony and well-being of the whole community.

Attend the scheduled 7am worship/Bible reading and 7pm discussions; these gatherings are mandatory. Sabbath 11am worship is optional.

Follow the team's safety instructions and use appropriate protective equipment. Powered chippers and other machinery require training, permission and the necessary supervision. Ask before using unfamiliar tools and stop if conditions are unsafe.
