The volunteering experience at the hostel was one of the best! The team made me feel super safe and respected, I learnt so many new skills and significantly developed my current ones. The working hours were respected and the work itself was fun and sociable 😊. The spaces were clean and organised, with a social common area and fun archeology themed decor. Loved my experience there because I learnt so so much but they made it fun and the time flew. I would definitely recommend the hostel for volunteering 100% 😊.

Bora is very chill and easygoing, which really helps create a good environment to work in. He tries his best to accommodate shift requests whenever possible, which I really appreciated. The hostel was amazing, exactly where you would wanna be if you ever end up in Beyoğlu, and the team has some of the best people I've ever met!! You get to meet a lot of amazing locals and travellers, there's a nice balance and atmosphere. The job itself was very fun and enjoyable, I would absolutely do it all over again. It really is the best spot in Istanbul!

The hostel was the perfect base for exploring Istanbul - I'm really grateful I got the chance to spend a few weeks there. Shoutout to everyone who works there, especially Bora for making sure that we all felt at home and for generally being a hilarious and fun person to work with. If you're looking for an immersive experience, this is it - you can hang out with other guests and staff during the day and night, and working at the cafe gives you a chance to feel like part of the actual city (plus it's a great crash course on learning how to make tasty drinks). I would go back in a heartbeat
