It was my second volunteering experience and I couldn't have had a better one, even after the first set the bar high. I learned a lot about sustainability, gardening, about animals and how to cook good food from starch. The location is fascinated, as well as the whole island. The working hours were more than fair and free days were respected. Julie is the best second boss! I can recommend this experience to those who really wants to get close to nature and learn about permaculture and animals!

We really enjoyed our stay at this place.
The volunteers live in their own little house with a kitchen and shower and a toilet near by.
The surrounding and property is very beautiful, we always saw the sea and had a view on the mountains.
Near by the location there are hiking trails which lead to the top of the mountains.
To get to the bus we had to walk 15 min down the road. The bus comes every hour or every 2nd hour.
The host was also always kind.
Overall it was a lovely stay.

It was our first worldpackers experience and we had a really nice time here. the farm was always kind and willing to help us, if we needed anything. The work isn't to hard and we had enough time to explore the island in our free time. All the animals were incredibly sweet, especially the two dogs, humo and freya , grew very close to our hearts. Also I have grown much as a person and would recommend this experience to anyone who likes to spend some time in nature and is ready to step out of one's comfort zone.

My friend and I traveled together to La Palma, without knowing what to expect or what we were going to find on the island. The workplace is nice and what was agreed beforehand was fulfilled; if you like working with animals and living an experience of immersing yourself in a lifestyle so typical of La Palma, the place is ideal. We were very comfortable in the little house they offered us, we had food and our space was respected. We are extremely grateful to Julie, the person in charge who welcomed us, and Maria Luisa. In addition to clear explanations, in the afternoons we have had a lot of fun together. Luz and Nadine 🌈

Disappointing. Half-truths in their profile: it does not mention that they only provide basic foods (rice, pasta, milk, etc.). They said they didn’t know what they were saying in their profile, Wi‑Fi 0, etc. Volunteers and dogs crammed into a small space, with no bed for everyone and with noise to rest (their solution: use earplugs). I had to repeatedly ask at some point that please speak to me in Spanish since I don’t speak English and I was feeling excluded. Almost no effort from the host/volunteer. Welcoming people into your home who dedicate their time and effort and contribute to improving your life deserve care and honesty.

There is 5 beds for the 5 volunteers, 2 in each sleepingrooom, a bedsofa in the kitchen.
There is diferent kind of foods included, Proteins, some vegetables, fruits etc. For brakefast, lunch and dinner. Aitor had a stressed energy, he was not flexible, he didn’t interact with the other voluntairs.
He did his work good, but was not communicative.
One morning he wake me up early to say that he immediately will leave the farm, without telling me before. He didn’t feel respected he said.
