I spent 2 weeks here and it was an incredible experience. From the very first minute, the community made me feel truly part of the family. I had originally applied to help in the restaurant, but in the end I decided to teach English — and I absolutely loved it. Most of the groups are with kids after school, and the classes are really fun. Beyond volunteering, there's always something happening every day — activities, trips, music evenings, you won't get bored. I'm truly grateful I could stay here and meet all those beautiful and most generous people. I know that I'll be back one day!

This volunteer experience was very diverse. I started by visiting local communities and homestays and sharing my knowledge with the LHA association through presentations. Later, I taught English at local after-school classes. The overall experience was enriching. One thing that could be improved is clearer daily communication about volunteer tasks. Also, volunteers could have more independence, as constant supervision is not really necessary. My stay at the homestay with Mala, Nopy, and Riko (the kitty) was amazing! It felt like family, and I'm forever grateful for the friendships I made❤️
