Our country house is a historic building from the 16th century that we have been restoring for several years. One floor is already finished, with bedrooms, bathrooms and a large living room with a kitchen, while the others remain under restoration. We want to preserve the traditional essence of the house while adapting it to modern life, using bioconstruction techniques, natural materials and sustainable solutions whenever possible.
Tasks at the country house are very varied and depend on both the season and the house's activity. On a day-to-day basis we usually take care of cleaning the home and the stables, meal preparation, care of the animals, attention to the orchard and the fruit trees, as well as milking. At certain times temporary jobs also arise such as cleaning the forest, clearing brush, maintaining the fences, caring for the bees, making artisanal cheeses or collaborating in small restorations of the house. Sometimes we also carry out masonry, electrical, or other projects that we gradually develop, which makes each stay here a different and enriching experience.
