It was a really nice experience to volunteer at Three the hostel Guesthouse! Sharom is friendly and flexible, you will laugh with him! Tasks are easy, you just need to clean and make sure the hostel is clean. And sometimes there is work to do in another guesthouse he owns. The best job is literally in the pool! I got the chance to experience real Malay culture, food and nature. I even enjoyed working in the garden at the guesthouse and it was fun taking care about the hostel. We were eating out for lunch and dinner so it was nice trying different meals and restaurants. The whole scheadule was very relaxed and the dinners were quite late around 10pm. I am so grateful for this whole experience. Thank you Sharom. I hope I will get the chance to come back!

My time at the hostel was fantastic! Sharom was so welcoming and great to work with. He kept me safe and well fed the entire time. It was great to work between the hostel and guesthouse, especially when we'd go for an afternoon swim after a big day of gardening. I will miss our chats and car rides to get putu piring. This place is certainly a home away from home.

This was my first volunteering experience, and I'm leaving with memories I'll never forget. Sharom made me feel at home from the first day, and I'm really going to miss all our long chats. I've learned so much about Malaysia and Melaka, he even taught me a bit of the language, we've laughed so much, and I even learned how to build a BBQ from scratch! But more than that, he was always there to help me, even during the hardest moments. I'm sure I'll come back one day. What an amazing place, an amazing hostel, and above all, an amazing person. I really enjoyed volunteering at Three the hostel. The work isn't demanding, and the hostel is small, cozy, and has a very welcoming atmosphere. It's also close to the historic city center, which makes it easy to explore the city. During lunch and dinner, Sharom often took us to try local food, sharing a bit of his culture with us. What a stay! Sharom make this place a home and welcome you with open arms! 🤗 I had sooo much fun staying at the hostel littles the hostel ! I meet so many amazing people and Malacca is such a cute city ! I recommend this volunteering just for the moments with Sharom, he was so nice, open and funny! ☺️ Always took me to good foods and desserts (always needed something sweet haha) 😁 Always take us and guests on adventures! We adopt a cat for the hostel and Sharom didn't even blink ahaha Just took us to the vet ☺️ The work is simple, so day you work less and some days you work more !

The last two weeks at the hostel were exactly what I was looking for. After traveling for several months, it was nice to have a place I could call home. The tasks were easy to follow: housekeeping, cleaning the pool and helping with check-ins. Sharom is an incredible, funny, and generous host. He took me for lunch and to the Ramadan bazaar every day and introduced me to amazing food. It was such a nice experience. I really got the feeling of being a local. Sharom is an amazing host, incredibly kind and generous. I had the best time getting to know Melaka and going out to eat some of the most amazing food with him. I also learned a lot about the local culture, which made the experience even more meaningful. The hostel is cozy, and the city is very charming and calm. I'm very grateful for my time here and would definitely recommend it to other volunteers.
