We are looking for World Packers volunteers who want to learn horse handling, skills such as grooms, and equine husbandry based on the concept of rational and non-violent training. For us, the care of our horses, which are our partners in educational and therapeutic activities, is very important. Our philosophy is to care for their physical and mental well-being with excellence. Our supervisor is a veterinary student.
25 hours of help per week
Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.
Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.
Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
2 days off per week
Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.
Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

En Iyuptala contamos con caballos nobles y un entorno de trabajo consciente. Necesitamos apoyo en el cuidado integral , limpieza de boxes y corrales, cepillado, revisión de cascos, preparación de raciones y suministro de agua. También en manejo pie a tierra con principios de Horsemanship, orden de monturas y mantenimiento básico de cercas y caminos. Colaborarás en rutinas de pasturas, chequeo de salud, registro simple de observaciones y apoyo logístico en jornadas. Buscamos personas responsables, con amor por los animales, disposición física y actitud de aprendizaje, comprometidas con normas de bienestar y seguridad. Valoramos responsabilidad, respeto y experiencia.
Las actividades del proyecto van a ser coordinadas dentro de los días de la semana laborales. Los dos días libres a coordinar para que los voluntarios puedan pasear y disfrutar de las actividades del centro que ofrecemos a intercambio de su trabajo.
