Volunteering at the hostel was a brilliant experience and something that has made a big impression on me! Alban and his family and truly lovely people and they were fantastic hosts, helping to keep us all as comfortable as possible. I really enjoyed the farm work, seeing the before and after affects of the months work was very satisfying. Last but not least, the wider volunteer group made the trip. I made some fantastic friends at the hostel and hopefully will be back one day to see how the farm is getting on 🌴 Thanks!

This was my first volunteering experience, and I couldn't have chosen a better place! The hours are flexible and the work isn't too demanding, so we had plenty of time to explore and enjoy the area. We had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, co-working spaces, and social areas with pool and other games. Alban is also an incredible host, relaxed, easy to talk to, and always open to feedback. I got to work on a special permaculture project, met amazing people, made so many fun memories, and had an experience I'll always remember. Highly recommend!

I had a great time at the Hostel! I signed up to volunteer at the farm, but because the hostel was quite busy because I went during high season, I ended up doing the majority of my work at the hostel which was fine. The work hours are fair, and Alban is always there if you have any questions.

It was a great experience! The hours are respected and the owner Albano and he's parents are super nice and received me very welcoming. We have a private dorm only for volunteers with a bathroom (it helps) I would like to come back for sure!

The hostel was a great spot to be a winter custodian - warm people, beautiful scenery and a huge hostel with ample area to relax after work hours. Albano and Maryam were very kind and welcoming, i enjoyed working with them and getting to know their passions about the hostel and the farm land that we worked on. The work was pretty straightforward, with cleaning and renovation work in the hostel and planting and gardening work for the farm. My time in Saranda was a pleasure :)
