This was my first Worldpackers experience. Muriel and Thierry explained their expectations clearly from the start. Living in a castle in a small village surrounded by greenery was truly unforgettable.
My tasks included walking the dogs, helping with cleaning and organizing (both inside and outside), and assisting with setting and clearing during meals. These responsibilities made me feel like a real part of the household.
I also enjoyed trying new dishes at every meal. Meeting the hosts and other volunteers gave me a fresh perspective, and I am very grateful.

Muriel and Thierry were amazing hosts, and I will forever be greatful for their hospitality. For the most part they mainly just needed help with house work and daily dog walks, which I was happy to do. In exchange they let us stay in their beautiful mini castle with them. The area is rural yet beautiful, and if you wanted to explore the neighboring villages, then Muriel and Thierry have bikes that you could use to do so. I only wish I could have spent more time there! Thank you Muriel, Thierry and the dogs for making my time in the home so enjoyable!

My time in the home was one of the best experiences i ever had. Staying with Murielle and Thierry felt incredibly special. I felt at home and welcomed as part of their family. As fur mom, I absolutely fell in love with their fur babies. They are the cutest, adorable and cuddly. Their home is beautiful and each volunteer has their own private room with en-suite shower. the home is a very rural area surrounded by stunning landscape. Being there truly like a peaceful retreat. The daily tasks are simple and enjoyable and you will be definitely be well fed. I hope to stay again in the future :)

This was my second time volunteering with Muriel and Thierry, and it was an even more incredible experience than the first.😊🙏💕They owns a summer house on the island of Ibiza, Spain, where I stayed with them from Christmas through the New Year. In France, you can learn about how to manage a household in a "château" setting. Meanwhile, in Ibiza, since the cell signal can be spotty, you have the perfect opportunity to reconnect with nature, practice self-reflection. I highly recommend this volunteer experience to anyone who loves variety and wants to embrace new experiences every day!!🤗✨

Volunteering with Muriel And Thierry was one of the most beautiful experiences of my time in France. From the very first day they opened their home to me and and made me feel like part of their family,something I will carry in my heart forever.
The work was simple and well explained, and the working hours were always respected. The food was DELICIOUS, and the dogs were absolutely lovely!

Our stay was very nice. We never had to work more than the agreed hours and the tasks were varied, well explained and easy to manage. The food was diverse, delicious and always freshly cooked. Muriel and Thierry were very friendly and welcomed us with open arms. The dogs were also incredibly cute and they always kept things fun.
The place is quite remote and there is no public transport, but Muriel took us on small trips so we were still able to see a bit of the area. Overall, it was a great experience!

The stay with Muriel and Tierry was very pleasant. The tasks were always clearly explained and absolutely manageable. We always worked within the agreed hours. We had a really great room to ourselves with a private bathroom. There is no public transport in the home, so you can't easily get around from there. Muriel sometimes took us on trips so we could get out and see a bit more. The food is super, super delicious and always freshly cooked. There is plenty of variety, and the meals are very meat-loaded. The dogs are incredibly sweet, and it's never boring with them. Thank you for everything!

Volunteering at Muriel and Thierry's home became one of the best experiences of my life. They are both very open-minded and treated the volunteer staff like family. Thierry is an exceptional cook—better than many professional chefs—and he prepared delicious meals for us every day. Muriel has such a warm personality, and she always respected the volunteers, which allowed me to work with joy. I sincerely hope to have another opportunity to volunteer with them again.
