My time at the hostel was nothing short of amazing, i met so many cool people and learnt a lot from each and every one of them. The volunteering itself was great, the duration was perfect (enough time left in the day to go and explore or relax) Joao and Nadia were excellent and welcoming, always had a smile on their face. It’s given me an insight for volunteering in the future. Thanks to everyone who was part of my experience :)

It was an amazing experience! We were the first volunteers, so at the beginning we were learning together and we found our balance very fast. Everyone here is amazing, both the reception and cleaning staff. They are incredibly kind and I instantly felt like at home, that's why I'm pretty sure they will see me again next year 😂 it's a good opportunity to learn Spanish or Portuguese, Faro and the surroundings are stunning, and it's a beautiful place to live in! Thank you again, I spent one of the best months of my life with you and I will never forget it!

Manuela was a wonderful addition to our reception team. From day one, she showed a great sense of responsibility, commitment and genuine care for her work. She was always attentive to our guests, reliable and willing to help whenever needed. We really appreciated her dedication and the way she took her responsibilities seriously. It was a pleasure having her with us, both professionally and personally. We would happily welcome Manuela back anytime! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was my first experience at a hostel and it was great! As I was the first volunteer to participate in this function, it was necessary to adjust as things happened, but João and the whole team were very flexible, making themselves available to understand and resolve possible problems. Nadia, Edgar and the other new volunteers, even with little time together, made me feel welcome. I am grateful for the opportunity and for the whole Madalena Hostel & Suites team.

My experience was rewarding; the cleaning and reception teams are fantastic people, they make us feel at home and make everything more pleasant. I recommend this place if you want to get to know the city and enjoy the beach; the bus and train stop is very close. Everything is lovely, I am super grateful. 🫶🏼💗
